replace approximately 10,000 square feet of sidewalk, as detailed in the scope of work section. Generally, the contractor will be called and notified when one block is ready for forming and pouring. Specific 1. The City of Bristol, Tennessee will be responsible for all traffic control during the project per MUTCD standards. Roads shall remain open to the public by the use of flagging or other acceptable techniques. Work hours are limited to standard daylight operating hours. 2. The City of Bristol, Tennessee shall be responsible for removing existing concrete sidewalks and disposing of the spoil material. Sidewalk Closed signs shall be used to ensure pedestrian safety during the project. 3. The City of Bristol, Tennessee shall install 4 inches of compacted Class A Grade D stone as a base for the new sidewalks. 4. Contractor will be responsible for forming of the sidewalk and using appropriate safety equipment to ensure for the safety of the general public. 5. The width of the new sidewalk shall be a minimum of five feet in width. Field adjustments will be allowed upon approval of the inspector of the project. Bonds required.
