Statements of qualifications, Contractors for Operation's Building Dewatering Facility. The Work for the Sandy City Public Utilities Vac Truck Water Quality Facility Project includes the following elements: Site preparation, demolition, and removal of specified existing improvements. Construction of new Vac Truck Water Quality Facility, including reinforced concrete pads, basins, vaults, and hydraulic structures. Excavation to construct the facility within the limits of the site; backfill and grading; construction of piping and site improvements. Construction of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls. Site surface restoration. The purpose of the prequalification process is to select only those contractors the Owner deems to be qualified and capable of successfully completing the project based on the contractor's expertise, experience, and performance on previous similar projects, proposed project personnel, current ability and resources to perform the work, and other criteria described herein. Only prequalified contractors will be allowed to submit bids. Subcontractors, product suppliers and equipment suppliers do not require prequalification. Bonds required.
