The Oak Harbor School District will construct a new school building on approximately 10.6 acres. Presently the construction site has had the existing trees logged and removed from site. The stumps (still in ground) and slash from this logging operation remain on site. The contractor awarded this project will remove all stumps (with exception of stumps identified to remain by the landscape architect) from the ground with minimal soil disturbance. The stumps and slash will then be ground/chipped into a stockpile that will remain on site.
