Description The City of Novato Public Works Department is seeking qualified consulting firms to provide professional planning and engineering services for corridor studies on two City corridors: North Redwood Boulevard and San Marin Drive. The studies will evaluate existing multimodal conditions, develop and assess improvement alternatives, and produce adopted corridor plans that provide guidance for future capital improvements, streetscape standards, and development requirements along each corridor. Key work elements include data collection and existing conditions analysis, multimodal level of service evaluation, stakeholder and community engagement, alternatives development, environmental constraints screening, and a grant funding strategy

The scope of work includes localized digouts, mastic crack sealing, and the application of a high-performance Type II slurry seal. To address segments requiring structural restoration, the project includes precise cold planing of existing pavement followed by a new hot mix asphalt (HMA) overlay. Additional corridor improvements include the installation of a new Class IV protected bike path, designed to enhance multimodal safety through physical separation. The project also includes the complete replacement of traffic striping and pavement markings to ensure high visibility and compliance with current safety standards

The City of Novato, Public Works Department, desires to retain a contractor (or contractors) to provide LAD & CFD Landscape Maintenance Services for Hillside, Wildwood, San Pablo LADs, & Hamilton CFD

Project Description: Rehabilitation of existing street pavement by grinding and repaving, replacement of paving markings and striping. The work to be performed under this Contract consists of clearing and grubbing, pavement grinding, hot mix asphalt paving, minor concrete work, utility cover adjustments, pavement delineation and signage, traffic control, water pollution control and ancillary work on various streets in San Anselmo.

Work Description: Work generally consists of clearing and grubbing, removal of existing pavement markings, slurry seal application, pavement delineation, traffic control, water pollution control, and ancillary work on various streets in the towns of San Anselmo, Fairfax and Ross.

Description: The Contractor shall install concrete overlay on approximately 15,000 square feet of existing concrete at the upper yard, as follows: Provide 1.5" (inches) minimum and 2" (inches) maximum concrete overlay to existing concrete using concrete mix per specifications, with 4000 psi with bonding agent for proper adhesion. Normal colored concrete can be used for the overlay at San Quentin Rehabilitation Center (SQRC), located at 100 Main St. San Quentin, CA 94964.

The project will generally involve installing an approximately 75-foot-long concrete retaining wall with soldier piles to stabilize the roadway, detaching and reattaching a culvert downspout at the top of the slope during construction, improving drainage, restoring the embankment with native species, and repaving approximately 100 feet of roadway along the frontage of the wall. All work will take place within the Countys right of way

The County of Marin is seeking the services of a qualified design firm to perform an accessibility design and provide construction documents, and construction design support for the Marin County Juvenile Hall Accessibility Update project. The objective of the Juvenile Hall Accessibility Update project is to address accessibility compliance deficiencies in the Juvenile Hall facility. All building and exterior spaces utilized by residents, staff and visitors will be included in the scope of the project. Specific building elements to be address include but are not limited to, paths of travel, restrooms and showers, drinking fountains, raised platforms/stages, doors and door hardware, fixed furniture and counters, communications/lighting controls, and building signage. Identifying project scope, facilitating design, and implementing construction are all necessary components. Close collaboration with the Probation Department staff is critical throughout the process

The proposed scope of work includes various pedestrian path of travel improvements at several locations throughout the City of Mill Valley. As outlined in the schedule of bid items, this work includes, but is not limited to, implementation of water pollution prevention and control measures; traffic control; upgrading of curb ramps, sidewalk and retaining wall construction; applying striping, signage, markers, crosswalks and legends, installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacons, ancillary drainage and utility adjustment work,and all other work related to pedestrian sidewalk and crossing improvements as specified in the Special Provisions, and as directed by the Director of Public Works/City Engineer

The work includes the construction of a sand and gravel beach system at the Greenwood and Brunini beach sites at Blackies Pasture Park in Tiburon, California, This work consists of layback grading of an eroding scarp, removal and off-site disposal of asphalt and other deleterious materials, construction of two rock sills at Brunini Beach, installation of a log backstop at Greenwood Beach, excavation of sands/muds from the flood delta outlet as shown on the plansand the transport to the site and placement of sand and gravels from off-site locations as specified in these project specifications.
