Work includes facility additions and/or upgrades to the fire suppression systems at the Flamingo Water Resource Center’s (FWRC) Administration Building data center and telephone room, East Campus Laboratory (Laboratory) computer room, and West Campus Operational Control Center (OCC) computer room as well as the Laughlin Water Resource Center’s (LWRC) Administration Building computer room. The FWRC Administration Building will require replacing the FM-200 with a “clean agent” fire suppression system, adding a dry-pipe pre-action system for sprinklers in the data center, and renovating the HVAC systems. The area will be sealed in. The nearby “telephone room” will keep its FM-200 system but will have a pre-action sprinkler system added. The Laboratory will receive an upgrade from a wet-pipe sprinkler system to a pre-action sprinkler system, fire/smoke detection systems and a clean agent suppression system. The OCC will have similar upgrades and additions as the Laboratory. The LWRC computer room will receive fire detection and suppression activation systems and a “clean-agent” suppression system. A pre-action sprinkler system will not be installed at the LWRC. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
