The project site is located at the towns water treatment plant (wtp) at 452 45 road, approximately 0.5 miles north of the town of de beque i-70 interchange. the construction for which bids are requested includes the following significant items: 1. supply and construct a new 40x48 pre-engineered metal building (pemb) expansion with concrete stem walls and interior/exterior slab on grade. 2. site improvements, including clearing and grubbing, site grading, buried waterlines, buried gas service relocation, electrical service relocation and improvements, and power and control signals integration. 3. installation of two (2) owner-supplied 247 gpm fully automated skid-mounted ultramembrane filtration units and one (1) 30 gpm skid-mounted reclaim/recycle unit, including the main control panel and plc. 4. installation and assembly of owner-supplied pumps, monitoring equipment, and auxiliary items provided by filter tech systems. 5. installation and assembly of contractor-supplied interior piping, fittings, and auxiliary parts to connect all new treatment process equipment. 6. installing contractor-supplied valves piping valves, fittings, and pipe supports to connect new treatment skids and equipment. 7. modifications to an existing subgrade concrete storage tank for repurposing into a backwash recovery tank. 8. installation and assembly of one (1) owner-supplied compressed air system to operate automated pneumatic equipment, including extension of contractor-supplied pneumatic tubing from control panels to remote air connections within the building. 9. installation of one (1) owner-supplied chemically enhanced backwash system with waste neutralization for three (3) ultra-membrane filter units that are fully automated. 10. installation of a owner-supplied skid-mounted ultra-violet (uv) disinfection system with a new liquid sodium hypochlorite residual chlorine feed system. 11. miscellaneous demolition of existing structures and removal/decommissioning of the existing treatment facility equipment, including salvaging the operational microfiltration skid. 12. modifications to existing interior/exterior process piping and accessory items, removal of unused conduit, modifications to interior concrete, and interior framing of new accessory rooms in the existing facility partition. 13. installation of a new subgrade concrete decant structure at the backwash pond with a new 2-inch schedule 40 pvc force main, approximately 542 l.f., and connection to an existing discharge manhole at the wastewater treatment plant. 14. clean and reshape the existing backwash pond, including pumping of standing water and hauling removed material to an approved location accepting said waste. 15. electrical and mechanical system upgrades for existing and new building expansion. 16. drain, clean, and refill the existing 350,000-gallon above-grade steel pre-settling tank and install a new owner-supplied hexprotect aqua floating cover system. 17. install a new 1,000-gallon on-site concrete waste (sewer) holding tank and a new 2-inch sch 40 pvc forcemain with connection to an existing 4-inch c900 pvc forcemain adjacent to the wtp site. 18. installation of a new submersible raw water pump in the existing colorado river intake structure includes wiring and piping modifications to accommodate a larger pump.
