We are looking for a creative professional whose practice equips them to solve a specific challenge: delivering a brief, resonant gateway message on a large, curved, exterior surface visible from the interstate. The right applicant may approach that through typography and graphic composition, through painted imagery, or through a combination of both. What matters is the strength of the creative vision and the ability to execute at scale. This procurement is conducted in two stages. Applicants are asked to submit qualifications only at this stage. Appalachian Trail Tread Improvements, Damascus, VA

ATC seeks a qualified contractor to construct one set of rock steps and one set of locust steps on the Appalachian Trail. The lighting experience will be operating from dusk till dawn each night on the dates communicated to the Contractor by the City. Music shall be turned off at night in accordance with applicable City Code sections. 11. Be on-call for outages/failures, and replace defective materials within one hour of Citys notification. 12. De-install all lighting, cabling, audio equipment, and temporary infrastructure upon event conclusion, label it as needed and pack it into a storage pod provided by the City.
