This project consists of patching and slurry seal. Location: This project is located on South 26th Street from Bond Avenue to IL 15 in East St. Louis.

The work to be completed under this contract consists of hot-mix asphalt surface removal, pavement patching, hot-mix asphalt shoulders, resurfacing with hot-mix asphalt binder and surface course, concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, pedestrian curb ramps (ADA) improvements, installation of raised reflective pavement markers, placement of thermoplastic pavement marking and any incidental and collateral work shown on the plans and as directed by the Engineer, or as described herein. Location: This project begins at a point on the centerline of Loomis Avenue (SBI 52) from 150th Street and extends in a northernly direction to Thornton Road/Vincennes Road. The project is located within the City of Harvey in Cook County and has a gross length of 5,764 feet (1.09 miles) and a net length of 5,662 feet (1.07 miles).

This is a SMART overlay and ADA Improvement project in which the work to be performed under this contract includes hot-mix asphalt removal, earth excavation, pavement patching, resurfacing with hot-mix asphalt, placement of pavement markings, installation of raised reflective pavement markers, ADA ramps, traffic signals, detector loops, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans and described therein. The existing pavement is hot-mix asphalt pavement. Location: Illinois Route 171 (Cumberland Ave) from the Des Plaines River to North of Forest Preserve Dr and US 45 (Mannheim Rd) at Seymour Ave in the Village of River Grove, Village of Schiller Park and City of Chicago in Cook County. The project has a gross length of 8,097 ft (1.53 miles) and a net length of 7,891 ft (1.49 miles).

The Ainslie Street Bridge (SN 016-1105) over I-90/94 will undergo routine maintenance. The scope of work primarily consists of reconstruction of the expansion joints with strip seals, slope wall repair, substructure repair, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvements shown on the plans and as herein specified. Location: This project is located on I-90 under Ainslie Street in the City of Chicago.

This is a bridge painting project and the work to be performed under this contract consists of cleaning and painting steel surfaces as designated on the plans and any incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvement as shown on the plans and as described herein. Location: The project is located at the structure No. 1 (SN. 016-0436) carrying the IHB Railroad over US 12/20 (95th ST) in the Village of Bridgeview in Cook County.

This project consists of drainage structure cleaning, frame and grate removal and replacement, HMA surfacing around proposed frame and grate replacement and any collateral or incident work necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans and described herein. Location: This project FAI 290: I-290 begins approximately from US 12/20/45 (Mannheim Road) and proceeds approximately 16,900 feet (3.2 miles) in an easternly direction to Des Plaines River in the Villages of Forest Park, Maywood, Broadview, Bellwood and Westchester. All within the county of Cook.

This is a permanent protective shielding project and the work to be performed under this contract consists of installation of permanent protective shielding as shown on the plans and any incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvement as shown on the plans and as described herein. Location: The proposed improvement is located at various structures carrying Circle Ave, Harlem Ave & California Ave Over I-290 (Eisenhower) in the Villages of Oak Park, Forest Park and City of Chicago, in Cook County.

The project consists of the removal and replacement of a fixed platform scale. This work also includes removal and replacement of pavement, curb and gutter removal and replacement, median surface removal and replacement, sidewalk improvements, pavement marking, landscaping, and erosion control. Location: The project is located on I-55 at the northbound Bolingbrook weigh station and at the southbound Bolingbrook weigh station in Village of Bolingbrook, Will County, Illinois. The gross and net length of the northbound Bolingbrook weigh station project is approximately 155 ft, and the gross and net length of the southbound Bolingbrook weigh station project is approximately 155 ft for a total project gross and net length of 310 ft.

The project consists of refinishing of surface art medallions on existing retaining walls along the Dan Ryan Local Lanes with limits from 51st Street to 59th Street. Location: The project begins at 51ST Street in the City of Chicago, in Cook County and extends southerly along the Dan Ryan Expressway to 59th Street in the City of Chicago, in Cook County.

This project consists of a design overlay of the existing pavement with HMA surface course and binder course, thermoplastic pavement markings, ADA improvements for curb ramps, combination concrete curb and gutter, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the work shown on the plans and described herein. Location: This project is located along Palatine Road (North Frontage Road) and begins just west of the centerline of Kennicott Avenue and proceeds approximately 28,355 feet (5.37 miles) in a easterly direction to US 45 (Milwaukee Avenue) in the Villages of Wheeling and Arlington Heights and the city of Prospect Heights in Cook County.

This is a pavement preservation (Standard Overlay for US 14 and SMART Overlay for South Frontage Road) and highway safety improvement (centerline rumble strips for IL 23 section) project. The work to be performed under this contract includes pavement patches, hot-mix asphalt (HMA) surface removal, resurfacing with HMA binder and surface course, longitudinal joint sealing, curb and gutter removal and replacement, drainage structures adjustments and cleaning, new thermoplastic pavement markings, detector loops replacement, installation of raised reflective pavement markers, installation of shoulder and centerline rumble strips, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown in the plans and as described herein. Location: The project begins on US 14, just east of IL 47 (Eastwood Drive) and extends in southeast direction for 4,540 feet (0.86 miles), ending just east of West Lake Shore Drive. In addition, the project includes the entire length of the US 14 South Frontage Road, beginning from US 14 and running in southeast direction to the Frontage Road end. The project is located within the City of Woodstock. Lastly, the project includes a section of IL 23 northwest of Woodstock, beginning just south of Busse Road and running north 5,439 feet (1.03 mi) just past Olbrich Road.

This work shall consist of forestry, weed control, and landscape work. Forestry work shall include pruning, tree removal, and selective clearing of trees, shrubs, and brush. Weed control work shall include controlling and removing invasive weeds through physical removal or the application of appropriate herbicides. Landscape work shall consist of repairing, installing, and establishing new vegetative material including trees, shrubs, and seeding. Location: This work is located within the right-of-way limits along I-94 East and I-94 West (Edens Expressway) between Wilson Avenue and Lake Cook Road, within the municipal limits of Chicago, Lincolnwood, Skokie, Morton Grove, Wilmette, Northfield, Glencoe, and Northbrook. sdm

This is a bridge advanced shoring for two structures (SN 016-2047 & SN 016-2049). The work to be performed is at Pier 1 and Pier 2 at the structures carrying Ogden Avenue over I-90/94 (Kennedy Expressway) which have significant deterioration. The substructure columns on both structures are in critical condition with multiple columns on Pier 1 and Pier 2 having significantly reduced vertical and lateral capacities. As an advanced contract before the full bridge rehabilitation, the Department is proposing to install shoring consisting of vertical steel W-columns on steel base plates with grouted anchor rods on the pile cap to support the underside of the pier cap adjacent to identified columns. Double-angle cross frames with welded end gusset plates and bolted intermediate gusset plates will be installed after shoring columns are plumb and fully anchored. Location: This project consists of advanced shoring at structures along I-90/94 at Ogden Avenue. The total length of the project is 110 feet (0.02 miles). The project is located in the City of Chicago in Cook County.

This is an advanced procurement of selective mechanical and electrical components for the existing movable bridge at US 30 (Cass Street) over the Des Plaines River, Structure Number 099-0101. The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of the machinery brakes, motor brakes, and select bearings for the movable structure. Location: Improvements associated with this project are located at US 30 (Cass Street) Bridge over the Des Plaines River, Structure Number 099-0101. In the City of Joliet in Will County.

Resurfacing the returns at ramp intersections. Location: US 20 @ Meridian Road & Montague Road.

This project consists of various sizes of Class B pavement patching, pavement striping and aggregate wedge shoulders. Location: This project is located at the Sheldon Weight Station approximately 1.9 miles east of US Route 52 (N) in Sheldon.

This project consists of Class B pavement patching of mainline pavement. Location: This project is located on F.A.P. Route 681 (IL 116), Section (115, 116)PP, beginning at Iroquois County Line to Livingston County Line.

This work shall consist of brush removal and herbicide applications within the proposed planting areas, seed bed preparation including the application of soil amendment products, native seed installation, erosion control blanket installation, and maintenance of seeded and landscaped areas for a period of two (2) growing seasons following installations. The planting areas include slopes that may make portions of the work challenging. Contractors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the sites and ensure their equipment is appropriate for site conditions prior to bidding. Location: This project is located along FAI 55 (I-55) at the Limestone Rest Area sites south of Pontiac, IL. The northbound rest area is located at approximately mile post 193.0 and the southbound rest area is located at approximately mile post 194.0.

The work in this contract consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the installation, repair, maintenance or replacement of damaged guardrail, fence, attenuators, and other highway appurtenances; the repair of high-tension cable median barrier; and minor concrete repairs at locations throughout District 3. This includes the minor adjustment of connecting parts of the installation as specified elsewhere. The work to be done at any location will be indicated on the work order by the Engineer. The damage to repair is generally a result of automobile accidents; therefore, the need and locations of any repairs are random in nature. The work also includes providing traffic control. Location: Locations of repair will be determined by District 3. The nine counties that comprise District 3 are Bureau, DeKalb, Ford, Grundy, Iroquois, Kankakee, Kendall, LaSalle, and Livingston. This also covers any other locations maintained by District 3.
