Summary:Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the Chapman Hall AHU replacement project at Virginia Western Community College, Project Code # 260-B5260-059 (M25VW133) located in Roanoke, Virginia. The project is generally described as removal and replacement of a 45 ton rooftop air handling unit on existing to remain roof curb. The work shall include building automation system connections through use of a sole source vendor, and mechanical commissioning.

The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish/provide International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA) certified Engineered Wood Fiber (EWF) Playground Chips that can be blown into playgrounds with a self-contained blower truck at all the playground sites the City maintains. The City reserves the right to add and/or remove sites from the contract as needed throughout the contract term(s).

The Town of Rocky Mount is requesting proposals for paving and sidewalk improvements along Route 40 for the three (3) west bound lanes, including the center lane and turn lanes. Pavement replacement will begin at mile marker 33.67 and end at 34.15 for a total length of 0.48 miles. All pavement replacement activities shall be completed at night. Existing pavement will be milled 2 in the project area and replaced with 2 of SM-9.5D. After the milling and repaving is completed, all pavement markings will be replaced with epoxy markings (Type B, Class III). Pedestrian crosswalks and ramps will be constructed along the route and reconfigured at the intersection of Route 40, School Board Road, & Market Place Drive to bring them into conformance with current VDOT standards for Curb Ramps and Pedestrian Access Routes. Potential right-of-way and utility impacts will need to be coordinated prior to installation. There is a bid alternate for the 2 milling and repaving of the two (2) east bound lanes along the 0.48-mile project section. The replacement will follow the same installation requirements as the base bid items.

The intent and purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit, through competitive negotiation, qualified Contractor(s) to provide all required services pertaining to the installation of playground equipment at two new Williamsburg-James City County Schools Bright Beginnings pre-K Centers to include the design, furnishing, equipment installation, and surfacing of the play area. The resulting Contract(s) will result in ten (10) new play areas, five (5) for each new pre-K center with construction completed no later than June 4, 2027.

The County of Rockingham, (the County) a political subdivision of the State of Virginia is seeking proposals from qualified professional engineering firms to provide general and specialized engineering services. Work will consist primarily of design and contract administration for water distribution and sanitary sewer collection, water treatment and wastewater treatment projects as well as Solid Waste (Landfill) Engineering and support services. Landfill services include landfill gas management and groundwater monitoring related to a solid waste disposal operation. Other areas of specialized engineering work include, but are not limited to environmental management, stormwater management and Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (VDEQ) permitting as well as future county transportation and site development and construction projects.

The City of Bristol, Virginia (the City) is seeking bids from qualified bidders for the construction of the Balance of Plant (BOP) for the Equalization Tank System at the Bristol Integrated Solid Waste Management Facility (ISWMF) (the Facility) located in Bristol, Virginia, described herein. The BOP scope include all civil/structural, piping, mechanical/process equipment, electrical, and instrumentation work required to complete the Equalization Tank System. The EQ tanks (two 500,000-gallon bolted steel tanks) were procured under a separate contract (ITB# SW-26-002). The BOP Contractor shall coordinate with the EQ Tank Contractor and provide all remaining work necessary for a complete and operational system.

The project consists of milling and asphalt overlay on 26th Street, 27th Street, and Lafayette Boulevard between Church Street and Tidewater Drive and Princess Anne Road between Standard Street and Sewells Point Road. It also includes replacement of pavement markings and installation of thermal detection to replace impacted traffic signal loops. Construction is to be completed within Calendar Year 2026.

The Town of Bridgewater, Virginia, is soliciting proposals for solid waste collection in Bridgewater, Virginia. The Town of Bridgewater currently utilizes a third-party contractor to provide solid waste collection services, with collection occurring on Mondays for one half of the Town and on Tuesdays for the remaining half.

The City of Roanoke is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified Bidders to perform mass grading services for Tract 8, an approximately 33-acre parcel located within the Roanoke Centre for Industry and Technology. The project consists of mass grading and site development activities necessary to prepare the site to meet Tier 5 "shovel ready" standards as defined by the Virginia Economic Development Partnership's Virginia Business Ready Sites Program. The City of Richmond is soliciting bids to establish an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity on-call contract with an experienced traffic signal contractor to provide construction, materials, and related services for traffic control projects. The purpose of this contract is to support the timely implementation of improvements that enhance system performance, extend the service life of transportation assets, and ensure compliance with applicable federal and state requirements.

The Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority (the Authority) is seeking quotes to repair and rehabilitate the existing water resource recovery facility tankage. Scope of work includes temporary pumping and hauling of wastewater, removal of existing process equipment from the water resource recovery facility (WRRF), sand blasting of interior metal surfaces and exterior surfaces extending 6 below grade, installation of metal fabrications for deteriorated steel of interior walls, coatings installation for interior walls, re-installation of existing process equipment as originally shown, 7-day operational performance review of existing process equipment, reestablishment of wastewater flow throughout the facility, restoration work and all associated project work.

It is the intent of this RFP to secure, through competitive negotiation, a highly qualified and responsible contractor to perform the Scope of Work described herein to complete roof repairs as identified in the bid specifications for Danville Transits administrative maintenance facility. Please note that interested contractors must complete an onsite inspection of Danville Transits administrative maintenance facility prior to submitting a proposal. Interested companies must execute the sign-off sheet related to these requirements. The contractor is to acquire all necessary licenses and permits for the work.

The City of Martinsville is accepting bids for the Martinsville City Jail Sally Port project. Scope: Design and installation of a foundation stabilization method as outlined in the July 8, 2024, Geotechnical Engineering Report from ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC. (Appendix A).
