In order to eliminate aging and undersized water main, 8 ductile iron main will be constructed throughout the project limits of Southgate Course, Southgate Court, and Foxwood Lane. The proposed water main is to be located beneath the roadway, and all existing watermain is to be abandoned. Water main will be installed via traditional open-cut methods and backfilled prior to the full depth reclamation within the aforementioned limits. The pavement will be removed and replaced with cement base stabilization. Longmeadow Circle includes a full-depth reclamation of the existing bituminous pavement and underlying base materials to a specified depth, and Iroquois Avenue includes pavement removal and resurfacing. Additional work includes sidewalk, curb and gutter and hydrant replacements.

The project requires the successful Bidder to complete specified tasks after the water wells are taken out of service: Water Well #7 Resin Replacement - removal of existing resin material, cleaning of the cation exchange units and the purchase and installation of new cation exchange softener resin. The Contractor shall provide weekly watering of trees at designated locations throughout the Village. Trees are mulched and equipped with either a watering bag or Tree Diaper. Each tree shall be watered once per week unless otherwise directed. Watering shall include: Filling tree watering bags completely And slowly soaking the mulched area to ensure adequate root zone saturation and prevent runoff If a watering bag is damaged or missing, the Contractor shall notify the Village Forester. The Village will supply watering bags for the Contractor to install. Seasonal watering services are generally expected to occur from May to September, but actual service period may be adjusted based on weather. Each tree shall be watered once per week, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise approved. The Village Forester may cancel a scheduled watering if rainfall exceeds one inch in a seven-day period, or request additional watering during extended heat or drought conditions, or needs of the trees. Contractor shall not invoice for services cancelled due to excessive rain.

Southern interceptor manhole rehabilitation phase 3 consists of sanitary sewer manhole rehabilitation of 15 manholes on the gravity sewer. This includes approx., 185 vertical feet of manhole rehabilitation.

The project site is located at 200 E. Cook Avenue in Libertyville, Illinois, at the intersection of Cook Avenue and First Street. The site is currently occupied by the Schertz Building, which houses the Libertyville Police Department along with other municipal functions. The planned project involves the demolition of the existing Schertz Building and the construction of a new, purpose-built Libertyville Police Station on the same site. The new facility will be an approximately 50,000 square feet three-level building. Site work includes demolition, site preparation, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, and coordinated utility relocation work related to underground service conversion. The Contractor shall perform on-call snow hauling services for the Village on an as needed basis, including but not limited to 20 cubic yard truck. The Contractor shall: Provide trucks and drivers as requested by the Village to haul snow from Designated haul areas to approved dump sites. Comply with all Village designated haul routes and dump site rules. Ensure loads are secure Ensure trailer beds are clean of debris such as dirt, rocks, or other materials prior to hauling operations for the Village. Prevent spillage of snow and slush along haul routes and clean up spills at no additional cost. Ensure all drivers are properly licensed, English speaking, and all equipment is properly registered, insured, and maintained. Provide 24/7 availability for snow hauling during snow events when called by the Village.
