The sole purpose and intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to secure firm, fixed pricing and establish a term contract for the purchase and delivery of Calcium Chloride 35% Solution, to Palm Beach County Water Utilities, including the Glades area.

Alachua County Facilities Management is seeking qualified Contractors to provide fence installation, repair, and related services on an as-needed basis across various County-owned and operated facilities. These services are necessary to support the ongoing maintenance, security, and operational needs of County properties. The purpose of this contract is to establish a reliable and efficient method for completing fencing projects without the need for separate solicitations for each individual job. Through this contract, the County intends to create a set of pre-priced, standardized fencing systems that can be used across multiple locations. This approach will allow the County to respond quickly to project needs while maintaining consistency in materials, installation practices, and overall quality.

Work includes, but is not limited to, providing all supervision, labor, required materials, equipment, tools, operations, and documentation necessary for the construction of a traffic circle, including site preparation, grading, pavement construction, curb and gutter installation, sidewalks, ADAcompliant pedestrian ramps, drainage structures, pavement markings, and signage, all in accordance with the contract documents.

The Carpenter Complex includes the 20,700 square foot indoor, climate-controlled training center (David P. Montgomery Baseball Performance Center) and the two-story 11,000 square foot clubhouse building surrounded by an open porch of approximately 3,000 SF. This work is for concrete repair and painting at the facility. All work in this scope is for the David Montgomery Training Building and the club house.

3.1. Scope of Work

The project consists of modifications to the existing Economy Parking Lot to support the implementation of a Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS).

Improvements shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

Entrance and Exit Modifications

• Reconfiguration of existing entrance and exit lanes to accommodate one (1) entry lane and one (1) exit lane for controlled access

PARCS Infrastructure (Owner-Furnished Equipment Support)

• Installation of all infrastructure required to support entry and exit kiosks, gates, and associated equipment
• Construction of concrete pads, foundations, and mounting surfaces for equipment and canopies
• Coordination with The Car Park and the Airport for equipment layout, specifications, and installation requirements
• Kiosks and PARCS equipment shall be furnished separately by the Owner and installed in coordination with The Car Park

Canopies

• Installation of canopy structures over entry and exit lanes to protect ticketing and payment equipment

Electrical Systems

• Installation of power service, conduit, wiring, and connections to support PARCS equipment

Data and Communications

• Installation of communication infrastructure (fiber, ethernet) required for system operation
• Coordination with City of Lakeland Telecom, Airport, and The Car Park for system integration

Site and Civil Improvements

• Pavement modifications, striping, and signage for traffic control and wayfinding
• Installation of vehicle detection systems (loops or equivalent)
• Installation or modification of fencing and access control elements as required
• Provide and install parking stops (wheel stops) as required for proper vehicle control and space delineation

Lighting and Safety

• Installation or modification of site lighting to support safe vehicle and pedestrian circulation

Maintenance of Operations

• Maintain continuous access to the Economy Parking Lot during construction
• Provide traffic control and phasing plan

The Design-Builder shall be responsible for delivering a complete and fully operational system, including all components necessary for proper functionality, whether or not explicitly listed herein.

Seminole County Utilities Department is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide comprehensive inspection, cleaning, evaluation, and repair services for its water storage tanks and contact chambers.
