South Region Operations Center (SROC) - Paint Entire Complex, West Palm Beach, FL
SCOPE OF WORK: This Quote/Bid is to furnish all material, labor, supervision, permits and supplies necessary and reasonably incidental to prep, prime, and paint the entire complex at SROC per the project requirements provided by Capital Improvements Division in this Invitation for Quote/Bid at Attachment C and all exhibits and addenda thereto. Work is to be done under the terms and conditions of Palm Beach Countys Annual Contract - Painting & Weatherproofing, and pursuant to the conditions of the Work Order, both of which are incorporated into the Contract Documents by reference. To prep, prime, and paint the entire complex at South Region Operations Center (SROC) per the project requirements provided below and the architectural drawings and specifications included as Exhibits 1: a. The contractor shall prepare, prime, and paint all wall surfaces of buildings K, L, N, O, P, Page 2 of 4 Q, R, M, T, W, including 2 sides of all exterior doors and frames, exterior of all rollup doors, the chiller enclosure, front monument sign, bollards, fire backflow piping, knee walls, area containment walls, light poles, and all previously painted surfaces connected to or in direct relation to these areas according to the specifications provided by Tnemec Coatings Inc. attached as Exhibit 1. b. The color scheme consists of multiple colors, Mississippi Mud, Cedar Key, Indian Gray, Safety Yellow, and Safety Red. c. Mississippi Mud shall be used on all roll up and exterior doors, frames, and roof drip edge. d. Cedar Key shall be used on all field or body surfaces and containment walls. e. Indian Gray shall be used for all banding and columns. Exact locations to be determined by Water Utilities Department (WUD) after award. f. This work includes pressure cleaning: the concrete slabs and walkways directly adjoining the buildings, containment walls, pedestrian doors, shutters, louvers, roll up doors, windows, bollards, fire sprinkler back flows, light poles, and front entrance monument. g. Unpainted aluminum or stainless-steel fixtures or attachments, anodized window frames shutters, standing seam roofing panels, gutters and downspouts shall be cleaned but left unpainted. Cleaning shall be performed by proper means that does not damage surfaces. h. Existing painted surfaces shall receive paint as determined by WUD. i. Prep will also include removing existing deteriorated caulking and replacing it with new urethane caulking tooled to a smooth uniform consistent surface, repairing and patching all holes and cracks to ensure complete weather tight integrity of the surfaces being painted. j. All repairs shall match the existing surfaces finish when completed. Building Signage will be removed and replaced like in kind (Size and Type) and colors to be chosen by WUD. k. Contractor shall protect all building elements with masking tape, plastic wrap cover to prevent paint splatter, spray, and overspray damage. Vehicles, landscaping, and exterior equipment located within the work area shall be protected or temporarily relocated as necessary to prevent damage.

Artificial Reef Construction: Large Vessel Reef in Escambia SE or LAARS E. Reef Site, AR2608, Pensacola, FL
This project requires the supply, cleaning and preparation, transport, and precise deployment (no explosives) of one or more (>85ft Length Over All) vessel(s) in Escambia County Southeast or LAARS East Artificial Reef Site . Vessel(s) will be cleaned (all fuels, oils, greases, debris, furnishings, flaking paint, etc. must be removed and properly disposed), prepared and deployed in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, permit conditions, and to the satisfaction of the Escambia County Marine Resources Division (MRD). Vessel engines may remain, but must be cleaned and flushed. Fuel tanks must be certified clean by qualified testing facility. No petroleum residue will remain in or on any part of the vessel prior to departure on reef deployment voyage. No polychlorinated biphenyl (PCBs) may remain on vessel; contractor must provide documentation and receive approval from Escambia County, state and federal agencies. PCBs must be disposed in a properly permitted waste disposal facility. MRD will provide contractor with precise deployment coordinates with Purchase Order. MRD places a priority on artificial reefs with habitat complexity and diversity, achieved by precisely deploying artificial reefs with diverse structural elements. Vessel will be inspected as soon as possible (weather and sea conditions permitting) after deployment. Any permit non-compliance must be corrected by contractor at no cost to Escambia County.
Myrtle Grove Elementary Outfall, Pensacola, FL
The proposed improvements consist of the construction of approximately 1,400 linear feet of enclosed stormwater conveyance infrastructure extending along 62nd Avenue from the Myrtle Grove Elementary School (MGES) Pond to the intersection of Jackson Street and 62nd Street. The proposed drainage system will tie into an existing manhole located on the south side of the Jackson Street and 62nd Street intersection and ultimately discharge to the existing 62nd Street Pond. The construction will also include the installation of concrete driveways, minor utility adjustments for conflicts, minor sidewalk adjustments and the milling/resurfacing of 62nd Avenue from the MGES to the intersection with Jackson Street. The project is intended to improve hydraulic efficiency, increase system reliability during major storm events, and provide a controlled emergency overflow pathway for the MGES pond.
