The City of Dallas Fair Park is a historic 277- acre cultural and entertainment complex. The citys Park and Recreation Department (PKR) is seeking proposals to establish a three (3) year with one (1) two-year renewal option Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) agreement with a qualified firm to provide full-service, turnkey event production services. The selected vendor will supply all labor, materials, equipment, and expertise necessary to support a wide variety of events hosted throughout Fair Parks indoor and outdoor venues. Customer service excellence, reliability, and the ability to support multiple events concurrently are essential. An ID/IQ agreement is established when quantities of services and/or delivery schedules cannot be determined. Services under this agreement will be ordered on an as needed basis for the term of the agreement.

The anticipated services will include project management and coordination, civil, surveying, permitting, geotechnical engineering, subsurface utility engineering, environmental services, archeological services, preliminary engineering, design, scheduling, cost estimating, construction management and other services as necessary for the Project.

The work under these specifications shall include but not necessarily be limited to furnishing transmission line tubular steel structures for the Tabor to Messer 138kV Line & Tabor to Rayburn 69kV Line Project. The poles shall be delivered to the Designated Delivery Location. The term Designated Delivery Location shall mean the structure stake locations or contractor laydown yard, as directed by BTU. It is the responsibility of the construction contractor to coordinate with the steel pole manufacturer on the delivery date and time; however, the delivery schedule accepted by BTU shall govern for purposes of compliance with these specifications, and the Manufacturer shall remain fully responsible for timely delivery regardless of such coordination. Time is a critical element of performance under this Specification, and the delivery schedule shall be strictly adhered to unless modified in writing by BTU.
