The City of Doral is soliciting Proposals for holiday lighting and dcor services. Purpose The City of Doral desires to enhance its public spaces during the holiday season and create a festive and attractive atmosphere for residents, visitors, and businesses. The City is seeking a qualified proposer to provide holiday lighting and dcor services, including, but not limited to, all labor, materials, and equipment. The allocated expenditure for the total display, to include materials, personnel and applicable permits, shall not exceed the total cost of budgeted funds per fiscal year, as no other charges will be paid. Proposers shall become familiar with all local conditions that may, in any manner, affect the services required. The proposer shall carefully examine the Request for Proposal terms and conditions, becoming thoroughly familiar with all conditions and requirements that may in any manner affect the work to be performed under any resulting agreement. No additional allowance will be made due to lack of knowledge of these conditions. 2.1.2. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS A. The awarded proposer shall provide a detailed proposal for the Citys Holiday Lighting Displays by August 31 or before, each year. Services may be modified each year according to the approved budget. B. Proposals shall not include Christmas trees for the exterior of the Government Center or Doral Central Park, as the City already owns these items. C. The intent is to create a comprehensive design concept for the Government Center, Downtown Doral Park, Cultural Arts Center, Doral Central Park, interior Government Center spaces, and the Public Works locations identified in the Scope of Services. The design shall provide balanced, aesthetically pleasing, and cost-effective holiday lighting and dcor displays. D. All proposals are subject to review and approval by the Parks and Recreation Department and Public Works Department. E. The awarded proposer shall coordinate all installation activities with the Parks and Recreation Department and Public Works Department no less than two (2) months prior to the Park & Tree Lighting Celebration. F. All lighting products utilized under this contract shall consist of energy-efficient, commercial-grade LED lighting products suitable for outdoor use. G. Proposers shall provide conceptual renderings, product descriptions, and/or examples of proposed decorative elements with their proposal. H. All proposed decorative enhancements shall be designed and installed in accordance with industry standards for safety, durability, and weather resistance. I. Removal of all holiday lighting and decorative elements shall occur after the observance of Three Kings Day and no later than January 15, unless otherwise directed by the City. J. All lighted decorations shall be equipped with timers and programmed to operate daily from dusk to dawn. 2.1.3. Pricing A. Proposers shall identify all anticipated project costs, including labor, installation, removal, generators, extension cords, deliveries, permits, and any other fees necessary for the successful completion of the project. Any available value-added services and associated costs shall be clearly identified. B. The current total budget allocated for this RFP is $435,400, which includes $258,400 for the Parks & Recreation Department and $177,000 for the Public Works Department. Services may be modified each year according to the approved budget. 2.1.4. DISPLAY PERIOD A. The awarded proposer must work with the Citys Park & Recreation Department and Public Works Department to coordinate the installation of Holiday Lighting at least two months or more before the Citys Park & Tree Lighting Ceremony event. B. Lighting and visual dcor installations shall be completed and fully operational no later than one (1) week prior to the City's Park & Tree Lighting Ceremony. C. Removal of all holiday lighting and visual elements shall occur after the observance of Three Kings Day and no later than January 15, unless otherwise directed by the City for a given holiday season. D. At the time of contract renewal, the City shall update the Display Period Dates for the upcoming year. 2.1.5. PARK & TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY EVENT A. The City will notify the awarded proposer of the date of the Park & Tree Lighting Celebration at least three (3) months prior to installation. B. The awarded proposer shall participate in an on-site walk-through with City staff no later than four (4) days prior to the Park & Tree Lighting Celebration to verify that all displays are complete, operational, and event ready. C. The awarded proposer shall ensure that all lighting and visuals throughout the City are functioning and properly lit prior to the Citys Park & Tree Lighting Ceremony event.

Maintenance and Repair of City-Owned Ice Machines 2, Miami Beach, FL

Scope of Work: Awarded bidder is to conduct quarterly maintenance of all City-owned ice machines using the following methodology: Inspections: Check the pressure in the water system. Check the temperature inside the unit. Check the condition and operation of controls and wiring. Check fasteners and look for corrosion. Check water sensors, thermistors, water distributor parts, water hoses and water sump or reservoir, bearings, water valve and screen. Awarded bidder should provide all inspection information to Facility Zone Manager FZM along with invoicing. Cleaning and Service: Turn off the machine and disconnect both the water supply and power connection. Discard any ice, drain the water, and disassemble the unit. Contractor to confirm that fresh ice is being produced before leaving the premises. Inspect all components that come into contact with water or ice for mold, slime, and scale. Clean the evaporator plates to remove calcium, lime, and iron buildup, which can hinder heat transfer and cause freeze-ups. Awarded bidder must use the appropriate cleaning solution based on the machine type. Cube ice machines with nickel-plated evaporators require nickel-safe cleaners to prevent damage, while other types may need a mild phosphoric acid solution. Flush the water system and circulate the cleaning solution through it to eliminate contaminants. Remove and clean all detachable parts using an appropriate solution and a brush to eliminate mold and scale. Rubber components, such as gaskets and O-rings, should be wiped down with a soft cloth. Pressure clean the storage bin drain. Remove grease and debris from the condenser coil using a non-corrosive cleaner and brush. After cleaning, sanitize all water- or ice-contact surfaces with a commercial sanitizer or diluted bleach solution. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely. Inspect and replace air and water filters if necessary. Wipe down the exterior surfaces. Inspect and replace the bin seal if needed to prevent dust and water intrusion between the ice machine and collection bin. Repairs: Any repair that needs to be performed is to be communicated to the Facility Zone Manager for approval prior to commencement. Any materials that are used for repairs must be accompanied by proof of cost.

Construction of Eastside Bus Transfer Facility, Gainesville, FL

It is the intent of the Contract for the Contractor to construct the new bus transfer facility as described in the Construction Plans and documents referenced herein. The project is located at 614 SE 20th Street, Gainesville, Florida 32641, and consists of the new construction of an approximately 5,210 SF single-story transit support facility for the City of Gainesville Regional Transit System (RTS). The facility will serve as a public bus transfer station supporting daily transit operations, passenger services, and community functions.
