The City of Doral is soliciting Proposals for holiday lighting and dcor services. Purpose The City of Doral desires to enhance its public spaces during the holiday season and create a festive and attractive atmosphere for residents, visitors, and businesses. The City is seeking a qualified proposer to provide holiday lighting and dcor services, including, but not limited to, all labor, materials, and equipment. The allocated expenditure for the total display, to include materials, personnel and applicable permits, shall not exceed the total cost of budgeted funds per fiscal year, as no other charges will be paid. Proposers shall become familiar with all local conditions that may, in any manner, affect the services required. The proposer shall carefully examine the Request for Proposal terms and conditions, becoming thoroughly familiar with all conditions and requirements that may in any manner affect the work to be performed under any resulting agreement. No additional allowance will be made due to lack of knowledge of these conditions. 2.1.2. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS A. The awarded proposer shall provide a detailed proposal for the Citys Holiday Lighting Displays by August 31 or before, each year. Services may be modified each year according to the approved budget. B. Proposals shall not include Christmas trees for the exterior of the Government Center or Doral Central Park, as the City already owns these items. C. The intent is to create a comprehensive design concept for the Government Center, Downtown Doral Park, Cultural Arts Center, Doral Central Park, interior Government Center spaces, and the Public Works locations identified in the Scope of Services. The design shall provide balanced, aesthetically pleasing, and cost-effective holiday lighting and dcor displays. D. All proposals are subject to review and approval by the Parks and Recreation Department and Public Works Department. E. The awarded proposer shall coordinate all installation activities with the Parks and Recreation Department and Public Works Department no less than two (2) months prior to the Park & Tree Lighting Celebration. F. All lighting products utilized under this contract shall consist of energy-efficient, commercial-grade LED lighting products suitable for outdoor use. G. Proposers shall provide conceptual renderings, product descriptions, and/or examples of proposed decorative elements with their proposal. H. All proposed decorative enhancements shall be designed and installed in accordance with industry standards for safety, durability, and weather resistance. I. Removal of all holiday lighting and decorative elements shall occur after the observance of Three Kings Day and no later than January 15, unless otherwise directed by the City. J. All lighted decorations shall be equipped with timers and programmed to operate daily from dusk to dawn. 2.1.3. Pricing A. Proposers shall identify all anticipated project costs, including labor, installation, removal, generators, extension cords, deliveries, permits, and any other fees necessary for the successful completion of the project. Any available value-added services and associated costs shall be clearly identified. B. The current total budget allocated for this RFP is $435,400, which includes $258,400 for the Parks & Recreation Department and $177,000 for the Public Works Department. Services may be modified each year according to the approved budget. 2.1.4. DISPLAY PERIOD A. The awarded proposer must work with the Citys Park & Recreation Department and Public Works Department to coordinate the installation of Holiday Lighting at least two months or more before the Citys Park & Tree Lighting Ceremony event. B. Lighting and visual dcor installations shall be completed and fully operational no later than one (1) week prior to the City's Park & Tree Lighting Ceremony. C. Removal of all holiday lighting and visual elements shall occur after the observance of Three Kings Day and no later than January 15, unless otherwise directed by the City for a given holiday season. D. At the time of contract renewal, the City shall update the Display Period Dates for the upcoming year. 2.1.5. PARK & TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY EVENT A. The City will notify the awarded proposer of the date of the Park & Tree Lighting Celebration at least three (3) months prior to installation. B. The awarded proposer shall participate in an on-site walk-through with City staff no later than four (4) days prior to the Park & Tree Lighting Celebration to verify that all displays are complete, operational, and event ready. C. The awarded proposer shall ensure that all lighting and visuals throughout the City are functioning and properly lit prior to the Citys Park & Tree Lighting Ceremony event.

Florida State College at Jacksonville requests qualification statements from firms interested in providing Professional Engineering consultant continuing contracting services on an as needed basis to include but not limited to the responsibility of coordinate planning, engineering design and construction activities which maximize the use of available funds for each project/job in accordance with the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) FS 287.055. The City of Miramar is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the removal and replacement of the existing emergency generator at Fire Station 84, located in Miramar, Broward County, Florida. This project is funded under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP), State Contract No. 4337-166-R, as approved by the Florida Division of Emergency Management (Division) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking bids from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to supply and install quartz counter tops for the housing apartments on an as needed basis, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation. As in all apartment complexes, floor plan dimensions may vary slightly from unit to unit. The pricing submitted for each unit style shall apply uniformly and shall not vary based on minor dimensional differences between units. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for field-verifying the measurements of each unit prior to ordering, fabrication, and installation of materials to ensure proper fit. Existing cabinet and countertop configurations may vary from the design documents included as Attachment A Pines Place Housing Plans and Attachment B Pines Point Housing Plans in this solicitation. In such cases, the CONTRACTOR shall notify the CITYs PROJECT MANAGER prior to fabrication or installation. Unless otherwise directed by the CITYs PROJECT MANAGER, all new cabinets and countertops shall match the design intent of the Contract Documents. Please note that Pines Point requires countertops for bathroom cabinets/vanities. Pines Place does not require bathroom countertops, as the bathrooms at Pines Place do not contain cabinets or vanities. The term Work includes all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, and services required of the CONTRACTOR, as shown or described in the Contract Documents. The CONTRACTOR shall use its own workforce and/or CITY-approved subcontractors to perform the Work. The CONTRACTOR shall not subcontract additional portions of the Work without prior written approval from the CITYs PROJECT MANAGER.

Scope of Work: Awarded bidder is to conduct quarterly maintenance of all City-owned ice machines using the following methodology: Inspections: Check the pressure in the water system. Check the temperature inside the unit. Check the condition and operation of controls and wiring. Check fasteners and look for corrosion. Check water sensors, thermistors, water distributor parts, water hoses and water sump or reservoir, bearings, water valve and screen. Awarded bidder should provide all inspection information to Facility Zone Manager FZM along with invoicing. Cleaning and Service: Turn off the machine and disconnect both the water supply and power connection. Discard any ice, drain the water, and disassemble the unit. Contractor to confirm that fresh ice is being produced before leaving the premises. Inspect all components that come into contact with water or ice for mold, slime, and scale. Clean the evaporator plates to remove calcium, lime, and iron buildup, which can hinder heat transfer and cause freeze-ups. Awarded bidder must use the appropriate cleaning solution based on the machine type. Cube ice machines with nickel-plated evaporators require nickel-safe cleaners to prevent damage, while other types may need a mild phosphoric acid solution. Flush the water system and circulate the cleaning solution through it to eliminate contaminants. Remove and clean all detachable parts using an appropriate solution and a brush to eliminate mold and scale. Rubber components, such as gaskets and O-rings, should be wiped down with a soft cloth. Pressure clean the storage bin drain. Remove grease and debris from the condenser coil using a non-corrosive cleaner and brush. After cleaning, sanitize all water- or ice-contact surfaces with a commercial sanitizer or diluted bleach solution. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely. Inspect and replace air and water filters if necessary. Wipe down the exterior surfaces. Inspect and replace the bin seal if needed to prevent dust and water intrusion between the ice machine and collection bin. Repairs: Any repair that needs to be performed is to be communicated to the Facility Zone Manager for approval prior to commencement. Any materials that are used for repairs must be accompanied by proof of cost.

General Contractors that are licensed, insured, and in good standing with the County are eligible to bid on the attached scope. New contractors with the county are required to submit a letter of insurability agreeing to these requirements. Escambia County may award Line item by Line item for emergency items limited to roofing and septic/sewer services.

The Big Corkscrew Island Regional Park (BCIRP) Phase 2B project consists of the next major construction phase in the continued build-out of the regional park. The objective of Phase 2B is to expand recreational amenities, improve stormwater and utility infrastructure, and construct key site elements to support the future operation and function of the park. This phase includes park roadways and parking, fitness courts, utility installations, storm drainage improvements, landscaping, fencing, and the construction of a new weir structure on the Bollt Canal. The work shall be constructed in accordance with the design documents prepared by Q. Grady Minor & Associates, Victor J. Latavish Architect, P.A., Hollis Engineering Consultants, and others.

The Pasco County Board of County Commissioners invites vendors to submit bids for the construction of a 5 wide sidewalk, driveways, and incidental work to provide a safe pedestrian accessway along Bethwood Avenue, Catalona Avenue, Banbury Avenue, and Lake Drive. The sidewalk improvement will also include 11 bus pads connected along the sidewalk, and 5 isolated bus pads with connections via pedestrian crossings across the roadway, as per the listed Project Specific Conditions.

The City of Melbourne is requesting bids from qualified firms for pressure washing, minor repairs and painting the exterior of the Eau Gallie Civic Center.

The HOLL-056 District 5 Traffic Calming Improvements Project is intended to enhance roadway safety, traffic flow, and neighborhood mobility by installing traffic-calming features, including roundabouts, traffic circles, speed tables, median islands, signage, pavement markings, and related roadway improvements. The project also includes ADA upgrades, drainage improvements, landscaping, lighting enhancements, utility adjustments, and sidewalk reconstruction to enhance accessibility and overall corridor functionality. All work will be completed in accordance with signed and sealed construction plans, applicable standards, permitting requirements, and public coordination efforts. Speed table improvements are not included under this solicitation and were completed separately under a previously awarded contract.

The City of Dania Beach is soliciting bids for wind mitigation upgrades at Fire-Rescue Station No. 1, located at 116 West Dania Beach Blvd. The project includes structural retrofits and modifications to comply with current hurricane-resistant standards. The project includes, but is not limited to: A. Civil 1. Restore sidewalks, green areas, pavement markings and pavement after installing new conduits for new generator B. Structural 1. Removal of existing 80 kW gas generator. 2. Installation of new 250 kW emergency diesel generator unit with a 187 mph enclosure. 3. Removal of existing transfer switch. 4. Installation of new transfer switch purchased by the City 5. Removal existing generator annunciator. 6. Installation of new generator annunciator purchased by the City. 7 Installation of underground conduits and splices 8. Installation of grounding system. D. UTILITY COORDINATION (FPL) o The Contractor shall include all costs and coordination required for Florida Power & Light (FPL) activities, including but not limited to: Required inspections Temporary power disconnects Service reconnections o The Contractor shall coordinate all work directly with FPL and comply with their requirements. E. TESTING AND QUALITY CONTROL o The Contractor shall provide concrete cylinder testing for all structural concrete work associated with the project. o The Contractor shall also perform soil density test for: o Subgrade and base preparation for concrete slabs o Wall footing areas Envelope wall foundation areas (if applicable) F. UNDERGROUND UTILITIES VERIFICATION o Prior to construction, the Contractor shall perform underground utility locating and tracing to verify the location of all existing utilities. o The Contractor shall be responsible for field verification and protection of existing utilities during construction. G. FIRE ALARM SYSTEM INTEGRATION o The new generator system shall be fully integrated with the existing fire alarm system. o Scope shall include all required wiring, devices, controls, programming, and coordination necessary for proper system operation. H. HVAC CONTROL REQUIREMENTS o The Contractor shall provide and install air conditioning delay timers to ensure proper load management during generator operation. o Integration and sequencing with existing HVAC systems shall be included in the scope. I. CRANE OPERATIONS AND GENERATOR HANDLING o The Contractor shall include all costs associated with crane rental, mobilization, demobilization, permits, and rigging required for generator handling operations. o Scope shall include: Removal of the existing generator and relocation to a designated City of Dania Beach (CDB) trailer/storage area Coordination of all lifting operations, including required permits and safety measures Mobilization of crane equipment for placement of the new generator once the concrete slab are completed and ready o All operations shall comply with applicable safety regulations and site constraints.

It is the intent of the Contract for the Contractor to construct the new bus transfer facility as described in the Construction Plans and documents referenced herein. The project is located at 614 SE 20th Street, Gainesville, Florida 32641, and consists of the new construction of an approximately 5,210 SF single-story transit support facility for the City of Gainesville Regional Transit System (RTS). The facility will serve as a public bus transfer station supporting daily transit operations, passenger services, and community functions.
