Work for this project consists of, but is not limited to, providing all labor, equipment, materials, and services to perform repair work shown in the drawings and specifications, which are summarized as follows: Application of a chemical-resistive coating system to all concrete pedestals and supports. Painting of all surfaces that do not receive a chemical-resistive coating in the project area. Removal and reinstallation of any or all components of the steel canopy structure as needed to temporarily remove the Sodium Hypochlorite tanks. Removal of and reinstallation of all Sodium Hypochlorite tanks. Inspect each tank after removal; tanks to be reinstalled and tested after repair work is completed. Clean all components of the steel canopy structure, including structural members, columns, and connections from any corrosion and replace-in-kind and reinstall-in-kind any deteriorated members once all concrete repair work is complete and all tanks are operational. Paint all components of the steel canopy structure, including structural members, columns, and connections, and the performance of all work and/or other operations as required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents.

The project consists of furnishing and installing a new pre-engineered metal canopy structure over existing asphalt as shown on plans provided. This also includes the installation of foundation and repair of surrounding asphalt and landscape.

The Work consists of, but not limited to, the following: performance of a subsurface utility engineering (SUE) investigation and preparation of a final underground utility routing plan based on the design drawings and verified field conditions; procurement of all required permits from the City of Sunrise; installation and integration of servers and video recording systems; final termination, labeling, and testing of all electrical and fiber systems; and full system commissioning. All work is to be constructed in accordance with the Drawings, Specifications and the Bid documents. Location of Project: Sawgrass Water Treatment Plant, 14150 NW 8th Street, Sunrise, FL 33325 Qualification Requirement: The Contractor shall have a valid State of Florida Certified General Contractors License. The Contractor must have successfully completed at least three (3) projects of similar type, size and complexity within the past ten (10) years and provide verifiable references for these projects. The City shall be the sole and final judge in determining if the Contractor meets the Qualification Requirement.

New Construction: Delivery of a new Administration/Student Services wing, entry plaza, neighborhood landmark marquee, fully equipped Main Cafeteria/Kitchen, Gymnasium, four outdoor basketball courts, a central courtyard with an outdoor amphitheater, new roadways, parking areas, and a secure outer perimeter fence line. Renovations (Buildings 01, 03, & 04): Facade modernization for Building 01. Comprehensive structural and building systems upgrades, selective interior finishes, re-roofing, and water infiltration remediation for remaining structures, alongside site-wide playfield improvements. Remodeling: Conversion of Building 01's vacated kitchen into an Industrial Ed/Culinary facility, transformation of the old admin suite into a Commercial Art Lab, and build-out of Building 03 to feature an ADA-compliant ESE suite and new 2nd-floor classrooms

Work in this category shall consist of engineering services related to larger scale issues of stormwater and drainage. Services may include, but are not limited to, basin master plans, FIRM modifications, watershed retrofit design, habitat restoration planning and design, NPDES permit support, TMDL analysis, stormwater facility retrofit design, drainage system improvement analysis and design, permit acquisitions, review of design documents by others, expert witness services, or general assistance to County staff with issues that involve large scale stormwater issues.

Work in this category shall consist of surveying services performed by surveyors licensed to practice in the State of Florida. Services may consist of, but are not limited to, development of legal descriptions and sketches for easement and right of way acquisitions, boundary surveys, construction stakeout, design surveys or record drawing surveys. Services may also include expert witness services or services in support of right of way or property acquisitions. All survey work must be completed using Countys survey codes.

Work in this category shall consist of engineering services related to development of subdivisions (residential, commercial or other) and other projects that are subject to the Site and Development review of Leon County Development Support and Environmental Management Department or City of Tallahassee Growth and Environmental Management Department. Services may include, but are not limited to, new facilities or the modification of existing facilities such as upgrading an existing subdivisions roads and drainage to County standards as a part of the Countys 2/3 Program, development or modification of office sites and parking lots as required by the County. Services may also include assisting County staff in matters associated with any of the activities described herein. Firms providing the services required in this work category shall have on staff, or as sub-consultants, the resources necessary to provide all services related to these work items including, but not limited to, landscape architecture, roadway design, stormwater engineering, structural, utility, architectural, tree mitigation, or other services.

Work in this category shall consist of services associated with projects which are in construction or are nearing a construction phase. Services may consist of, but are not limited to, inspection, testing, testing coordination, project management in accordance with FDOT procedures and other related services. If a Federal Grant is involved, a resident compliance specialist is required to ensure full compliance with the federal aid requirements.

Work in this category shall consist of design services related to Master Plans and design of county parks and/or landscape projects. Firms selected for this work category shall have a registered landscape architecture firm as part of the design team. Services may include, but are not limited to athletic fields, parking lots, park roads, landscape design, park structures, playground equipment, trails, drainage, and utilities in a park setting.

Work in this category shall consist of engineering services related to roadway intersections and traffic operations associated therewith. Services may include, but are not limited to, the design of complete intersections or any modifications or additions of amenities such as signalization, additional lanes, drainage and stormwater treatment, pedestrian access and utilization, etc. Services may also include traffic modeling, signal warrant study, multi-way stop warrant study, traffic safety study, concurrency impact assessments or other theoretical evaluation of traffic.

Work in this category shall consist of engineering services of a structural nature related to structures of concrete, steel, wood or other materials, or any combination thereof. Services may include, but are not limited to, design, investigation, evaluation recommendation, etc., related to bridges, foundations, board walks, boat ramps and docks, fishing piers, drainage structures, walls, or any other structures with which the County is involved.

Work in this category shall consist of engineering services related to major roadway design (enhanced local, collector or arterial roads), modification, maintenance or other aspects of roadway design in accordance with FDOT and County standards. Services may include, but are not limited to, typical amenities to roadway design, such as road widening, realignment, sidewalks, bike lanes, pavement design, shielding devices when warranted, roadside drainage and treatment, etc. Services may also include expert witness services or services in support of right of way acquisition, etc.

Work in this category shall consist of engineering services related to utilities such as water, sewer, natural gas, communications, electric or other similar utilities. Services may include, but are not limited to, computer modeling, feasibility studies, service capacity reports, system design, and review of design documents by others, expert witness services, or general assistance to County staff in matters related to utilities.

Work in this category shall consist of the field sampling and testing, laboratory testing and the engineering evaluation of such information as is available to render opinions and reports related to geotechnical issues by a Registered Professional Engineer as requested. The services may also include design of road base and subgrade improvements, embankment stabilization, erosion control, and sediment removal from a natural water body or a constructed stormwater management facility.

Leon County is seeking the services of a single qualified contractor to construct a sidewalk along Old St. Augustine Road in two separate locations. 1) South side of the road from Winchester Lane to west of Blairstone Road Intersection. 2) North side of the road from east of Blairstone Road intersection to Paul Russell Road. Additional services will be driveway, regrading, culvert extension, boardwalk, handrail, and other associated work.

The Town of Davie, Florida (the Town) is seeking proposals from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor or Debris Management Contractor (DMC), to provide disaster and debris management services, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Request for Proposals (RFP). In order to be eligible to respond to this solicitation, proposers are required to attend the pre-proposal conference. The sign in sheet will be available up until the commencement of the pre-proposal conference. Proposers are required to sign in PRIOR to the start of the conference. No one will be permitted to sign in after the meeting starts. Failure to do so will deem the bidder absent to the pre-proposal conference and ineligible to respond to this solicitation. Proposers are required to submit a 5% bid bond. The bid bond only needs to be submitted electronically.

The Project, including mobilization and demobilization, consists of: Demolition and removal of existing Pump Station No.315 to the extent indicated on the plans, which includes; the existing wet well and dry well, the existing pumps, emergency pump discharge box, electrical and mechanical equipment, piping, fittings, conduits and all other appurtenances; cut and fill with flowable fill the existing influent 8-inch gravity sewer pipes and the effluent 4-inch ductile iron force main that is to be abandoned. Transport of demolition material, including asphalt pavement, miscellaneous concrete, sod, unsuitable backfill material, pipes, valves, pumps, electrical and mechanical equipment to be legally disposed and/or salvaged, as ordered by the Department; furnishing, delivering and placing suitable backfill material as necessary. Furnishing, delivering and installing approximately 183 linear feet of 8-inch PVC (C900) DR25 colored green pipe with neoprene gaskets for gravity sanitary sewer; three (3) precast reinforced concrete shallow sanitary sewer manholes; one (1) precast reinforced concrete utility conflict manhole (Type J, 72"x52"); core drilling the existing reinforced concrete box culvert (abandoned pedestrian underpass); making a core drill connection to an existing gravity sewer manhole for connection of the proposed gravity sanitary sewer and including rehabilitation of the manhole; sheeting and shoring ordered left in place by the Engineer; sewage bypass operations with tankering, if required; furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for cleaning and testing the gravity sanitary sewer. Ancillary work includes all permitting, stormwater pollution prevention and erosion control, cutting, dewatering, grouting, plugging and capping existing main(s) that are to be placed out of service; removal, salvage, cleaning, transport, unloading and storage of manhole frames and covers, and castings on existing mains that are to be placed out of service; protecting trees to remain; removal of existing asphalt pavement and sod; removal, transport, salvage, and legal disposal of demolition material; temporary and permanent replacement of any pavement, curb and gutter, sod, landscaping, pavement markings damaged by the construction of the Project, and all other appurtenant and miscellaneous items and work necessary for a complete, fully functional, and satisfactory installation. The project also includes providing conceptual Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plans; providing offduty police for traffic control as may be required by the Department or governing authorities. Due to maintenance of traffic requirements in FOOT roadways, night work is expected for lane closures.

This work involves disconnecting existing water meters from the service water lines located at the rear or side of the properties and connecting new water service lines of the residences to the existing water meter at the front of the property, as shown on the attached sketch in the appendices. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for obtaining, executing, and securing all required signatures for the Owners Agreement. All labor coordination, administrative effort, and any other cost associated with this requirement shall be included in the Contract Price. The Contractor shall meet with the property owners/tenants at the site where the conversion will be performed, and the property owner shall have the opportunity to review the proposed route and provide input. The contractor shall also be responsible for obtaining the owner's signature for all required permits and for preparing, submitting, and securing all necessary permits, including plumbing and electric permits, from the applicable municipal Building Department where the work is to be performed. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, and equipment as specified or necessary for a complete Project including but not limited to trench excavation, placing a sand/fine gravel bed on the bottom of the trench for pipe bedding, furnishing and installing the new water service from the new water meter located in front of the property to the existing household potable water system connection point, which includes copper pipes, tubing, fittings, valves, PVC valve boxes, grounding system (where applicable) and the installation of the new vacuum breaker at each existing and new hose bibb; furnishing and installing backflow prevention devices where applicable, install all piping, fittings, valve box and accessories to connect irrigation meter/submeter where existing, performing pressure tests on the new water service pipe, flushing, disinfecting the new service line, disposing of super chlorinated water properly, backfilling and compacting the trench, cutting and plugging existing water service line(s) located inside of the property, removing and disposing of the existing water meter box, filling void (at the abandoned 1-inch wing style angle stop valve) with ready mix concrete to 2-inches above the existing and to be abandoned 1-inch wing style angle stop valve, placing top soil on top of concrete and laying sod as needed to cover area or the necessary material to match the existing condition at this location, performing final cleanup/restoration and landscaping of the disturbed areas to equal or better condition. The Work also includes the safety and protection of the homeowners property, coordinating and obtaining necessary inspections from the Building Office of the municipality in which the work is to be performed, proper disposal of removed materials and other appurtenant and miscellaneous related items, and completion of the work to ensure a finished project. The County has allocated certain funds for this project. Should the amounts bid exceed expected levels, the Department reserves the right to either reduce quantities and/or delete elements of the work while proceeding at the prices bid or reject bids and re-advertise at its sole option. It is the intent of the Department to obtain a complete, functional, and satisfactory installation under this Contract, and any items of labor, equipment, or materials which may reasonably be assumed as necessary to accomplish this end shall be supplied, whether or not they are specifically stated herein.

Prospective bidder shall carefully examine the site of the work and be satisfied as to all observable conditions. Bidder shall be responsible for measuring and calculating amount of work. Bid price is to include the removal and proper disposal of all work- related debris. The project consists of, and is not limited to, furnishing all materials, labor, services, supervision, tools, equipment, including all associated permits, and all other items necessary for the successful completion of the project, which shall include the replacement of the existing emergency generator and fire pump for the REG Courthouse. All work will need to be completed after business hours. The purpose of this project is to upgrade and replace the emergency generator and fire pump of the Richard E. Gerstein Justice Building. To include the fire pump controller and associated equipment and supporting panels. The existing operation of the Facility must be maintained during construction. Contractor is responsible for coordinating access and construction activities to avoid any interruption to the operation of the REG Courthouse. Contractor to coordinate with County personnel to turn over existing generator to County Utilities Manager. The abbreviated scope entails the following: Full scope as per approved permit drawings. 1. Generator Replacement a. The existing generator, including its steel base, will be removed and replaced with a new generator. b. Refer to the electrical drawings for the new generator model and specifications. 2. Louver Replacement a. The existing exterior louver attached to the old generator will be removed. b. The new hurricane-impact and fire-rated louver will be installed. c. The new louver will match the existing size and color. d. PRODUCT: ELF6375DXD Stationary Louver (Ruskin) e. Miami Dade County NOA: 24-0605.04 3. Entrance Door Replacement a. The existing hollow metal (HM) entrance door will be removed a replaced with a 60-minute firerated hollow metal door. Including new door hardware such as hinge, door closer and exit panic hardware. b. The new door will swing in the direction of exit to compliance with safety regulations. c. The new door will be painted to match the existing color. 4. Fire Pump Room Replacement a. The existing fire pump, fire pump controller, jockey pump and jockey pump controller shall be removed replaced. b. Refer to the fire protection drawings for the new fire pump model and specifications. Refer to the electrical drawings for electrical connections. 5. Interior Finishes a. Interior walls will be cleaned and repainted. b. The floor will be cleaned and coated with waterproof epoxy paint. c. The exposed underside of the roof slab will remain as is and will not be painted. All building systems have a contracted vendor for monitoring with Miami Dade County Facilities Division. Prospective bidders shall include in his/her bid, provisions for all conduit and infrastructure required.
