Work for this project consists of, but is not limited to, providing all labor, equipment, materials, and services to perform repair work shown in the drawings and specifications, which are summarized as follows: Application of a chemical-resistive coating system to all concrete pedestals and supports. Painting of all surfaces that do not receive a chemical-resistive coating in the project area. Removal and reinstallation of any or all components of the steel canopy structure as needed to temporarily remove the Sodium Hypochlorite tanks. Removal of and reinstallation of all Sodium Hypochlorite tanks. Inspect each tank after removal; tanks to be reinstalled and tested after repair work is completed. Clean all components of the steel canopy structure, including structural members, columns, and connections from any corrosion and replace-in-kind and reinstall-in-kind any deteriorated members once all concrete repair work is complete and all tanks are operational. Paint all components of the steel canopy structure, including structural members, columns, and connections, and the performance of all work and/or other operations as required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents.

Consumer Line Relocation Program at Various Locations MD-County 2026 Part 3, Miami, FL

This work involves disconnecting existing water meters from the service water lines located at the rear or side of the properties and connecting new water service lines of the residences to the existing water meter at the front of the property, as shown on the attached sketch in the appendices. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for obtaining, executing, and securing all required signatures for the Owners Agreement. All labor coordination, administrative effort, and any other cost associated with this requirement shall be included in the Contract Price. The Contractor shall meet with the property owners/tenants at the site where the conversion will be performed, and the property owner shall have the opportunity to review the proposed route and provide input. The contractor shall also be responsible for obtaining the owner's signature for all required permits and for preparing, submitting, and securing all necessary permits, including plumbing and electric permits, from the applicable municipal Building Department where the work is to be performed. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, and equipment as specified or necessary for a complete Project including but not limited to trench excavation, placing a sand/fine gravel bed on the bottom of the trench for pipe bedding, furnishing and installing the new water service from the new water meter located in front of the property to the existing household potable water system connection point, which includes copper pipes, tubing, fittings, valves, PVC valve boxes, grounding system (where applicable) and the installation of the new vacuum breaker at each existing and new hose bibb; furnishing and installing backflow prevention devices where applicable, install all piping, fittings, valve box and accessories to connect irrigation meter/submeter where existing, performing pressure tests on the new water service pipe, flushing, disinfecting the new service line, disposing of super chlorinated water properly, backfilling and compacting the trench, cutting and plugging existing water service line(s) located inside of the property, removing and disposing of the existing water meter box, filling void (at the abandoned 1-inch wing style angle stop valve) with ready mix concrete to 2-inches above the existing and to be abandoned 1-inch wing style angle stop valve, placing top soil on top of concrete and laying sod as needed to cover area or the necessary material to match the existing condition at this location, performing final cleanup/restoration and landscaping of the disturbed areas to equal or better condition. The Work also includes the safety and protection of the homeowners property, coordinating and obtaining necessary inspections from the Building Office of the municipality in which the work is to be performed, proper disposal of removed materials and other appurtenant and miscellaneous related items, and completion of the work to ensure a finished project. The County has allocated certain funds for this project. Should the amounts bid exceed expected levels, the Department reserves the right to either reduce quantities and/or delete elements of the work while proceeding at the prices bid or reject bids and re-advertise at its sole option. It is the intent of the Department to obtain a complete, functional, and satisfactory installation under this Contract, and any items of labor, equipment, or materials which may reasonably be assumed as necessary to accomplish this end shall be supplied, whether or not they are specifically stated herein.

Prospective bidder shall carefully examine the site of the work and be satisfied as to all observable conditions. Bidder shall be responsible for measuring and calculating amount of work. Bid price is to include the removal and proper disposal of all work- related debris. The project consists of, and is not limited to, furnishing all materials, labor, services, supervision, tools, equipment, including all associated permits, and all other items necessary for the successful completion of the project, which shall include the replacement of the existing emergency generator and fire pump for the REG Courthouse. All work will need to be completed after business hours. The purpose of this project is to upgrade and replace the emergency generator and fire pump of the Richard E. Gerstein Justice Building.
