The project generally consists of renovations and addition to Hauser Hall.

The Project includes the removal of approximately 750 L.F. of concrete channel in the Town of Mount Gilead, NC to facilitate a stream restoration in Stanback Park. The stream restoration will increase sinuosity and reduce the overall slope of the channel while improving the environment. The project also includes the replacement of an outdated pedestrian bridge at the park.

The Town of Huntersville is accepting statements of qualifications (SOQs) for consulting services to perform architectural, engineering and construction administration services for the new Vine Park Project. This park will be located on the lot at the northwest corner of the intersection of Gilead Road and Hwy 115. This site is to the south of the Downtown Greenway and to the east of 760 Craft Works. The Plan for the Park includes two jewel boxes with restroom, seating walls, lighted archways, a water feature with art piece, sidewalk connections to the trailhead, small performance shelter, upgraded sidewalks, bench swings, lawn area, picnic table areas, landscaping, site lighting and other park amenities.

Pitt CC will be relocating our various Public Service programs to space available at our Greenville Center location. Relocating in this facility empowers the programs to operate in a space specifically tailored for them. The building is approximately 27,105 square feet with existing floorplan (Exhibit A), Study preliminary floorplan (Exhibit B) as well as exterior faade upgrade (Exhibit C). Additional work will include painting and finishes in other areas of the building as identified during design. All design guidelines are to follow minimum requirements identified by NC Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMS Training requirements.

Given that available funding does not cover the full scope of desired improvements, the project will be structured to prioritize critical exterior stabilization and restoration work, with additional elements to be included as funding permits. The base bid shall include all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the following essential exterior improvements. ~ Stabilization and repair of the parapet, including structural reinforcement as required ~ Brick repointing and masonry repair in areas identified as critical to structural integrity and weatherproofing ~ Replacement and reinforcement of roof joists and replacement of the roof deck, to include new roof membrane, crickets, downspouts, roof hatch access, and coordination for future improvements such as mechanical curbs. Interior demolition as required to permit new work of base bid, including, but not limited to, demolition of select interior ceilings and demolition of existing mechanical systems. Add Alternates Bidders shall provide separate pricing for each of the following Add Alternates. Alternates will be awarded in order of priority, or in combinations, as determined by the Owner based on available funding. ~ Expanded brick repointing and faade restoration beyond critical areas ~ Restoration and reconstruction of the theatre marquee, to include new theater entrance and storefront (and subsequent demolition required for new work) ~ Exterior door and window refurbishment. ~ Lighting and exterior enhancements

The project generally consists of multi-use trail and site improvements.

The selected firms may be asked to assist with one or many of the following project types inside the Citys water and sewer systems: 1. Water distribution system rehabilitation or replacement replacing old pipelines with new, perhaps larger pipes. 2. Elevated storage tank rehabilitation to existing tanks or construction of new tanks 3. Water booster pump stations rehabilitation to existing or construction of new 4. Gravity sewer analysis and rehabilitation, including cured-in-place pipe and dig-and replace. 5. Sewer pump station and force main rehabilitation or construction of new pump stations and force mains. The engineers scope of services for any project may consist of some or all of the following: A. Evaluation of the existing system assets relative to the specific problem being considered. B. Evaluation of alternatives including capital cost and long-term operation costs of the asset(s). C. Field surveying. D. Geotechnical investigations and subsurface utility engineering reports. E. Development of engineering plans and specifications. F. Regulatory permitting including DEQ, DOT, US Corps of Engineers, and others. G. Preparation of contract documents meeting requirements of the NC General Statutes and any relevant funding agencies. H. Bid management facilitate the formal or informal bidding process. I. Construction management and onsite inspection J. Assistance with system startup and integration into the Citys operations. K. Record drawings and certifications.
