The project consists of final grading of an existing planter to allow construction of a new approximately 8 wide x 50 long concrete sidewalk. The sidewalk is over a sloped hillside and will be a structural concrete deck which is pile supported by Helical Anchors and concrete edge beams. The edge of the sidewalk will be finished with a series of concrete masonry pilasters for connection of wrought iron guard railing. Refer to Project Specification for more details.

This project consists of the upgrade and replacement of the HVAC systems, structural reinforcement of the 2nd floor support beam and building footings, window rehabilitation, and ADA renovation of an existing restroom for the Santa Barbara Veterans Memorial Building, a registered historic landmark structure built in 1927.

San Pedro Waterfront Harbor Boulevard Roadway and 22nd Street Parking Lot Improvements Project consists of developing and redeveloping 17.5 acres of parking improvements for a total of approximately 1,900 parking stalls and roadway improvements at Harbor Boulevard (formerly known as Sampson Way) from SP Slip to 22nd Street. The 208 East 22nd Street Parking Lot Improvements and Public Access Improvements (Drawing Nos. 1-3514 and 1-3536) Project consists of demolition of the Red Car maintenance and storage facility and fisherman storage areas and other existing improvements including clearing and grubbing, grading, asphalt concrete paving, and striping; installation of site lighting and conduit for future cabling; security fencing and cameras; parking ticket dispensers, pay stations, and gate arms; cast-in-place concrete retaining walls; construction of a concrete masonry unit (CMU) restroom building with utilities; and other improvements. The Harbor Boulevard from SP Slip to 22nd Street Roadway Improvements (Drawing No. 1-3597) Project includes reconfiguration and expansion of a section of Harbor Boulevard from SP Slip to 22nd Street to include 2 travel lanes in each direction, a scenic pedestrian walkway, and pedestrian access. Improvements include demolition and removal Work; removal and relocation of existing utilities; construction of curb and gutter; grading new boulevard alignment; placing crushed miscellaneous base; cold milling existing pavement; paving; pavement markings; relocation of existing and installation of new signage; sidewalks; street trees and landscaping; lighting; site cleanup; and other improvements.

Scope of Services: The City of Modesto will be planning, designing and constructing various capital improvement projects over the next several years. The City is looking for transportation engineering services from established local firms with experience in transportation and traffic engineering design, studies, and reports. Types of traffic improvement projects include new traffic signals, traffic signal timing, upgrading traffic signals, installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFB), Pedestrian Hybrid Beacons, Intelligent Transportation System equipment, striping plans, roadway operation changes, control modifications, roadway geometrics, roundabout design, and roadway features design. Typical project plans include demolition, earthwork grading, striping design, traffic signal design, utility relocation, fiber splicing diagrams, and details sheets. Studies can include Engineering and Traffic Surveys, intersection counts, coordinated signal timing updates, traffic impact analysis utilizing Sim Traffics Synchro, Citywide counts for origin-destination, and truck routes.

Scope of Work: The removal and replacement of approximately 550 LF of existing corrugated storm drainage pipe in various sizes ranging from 24-inch to 30-inch. The project also includes the construction of two new manholes, tree removal, paving, sinkhole repair, and landscape restoration.

The work consists generally of the following: Cleaning and removal of all sludge, solids, liquids, hair, plastics, trash, organic and inorganic material, and leakage, all within three (3) Primary Digesters and one (1) Secondary Digester, all located at the Hale Avenue Wastewater Plant. Onsite dewatering of removed contents. Legal disposal of dewatered solids. High pressure hose nozzle and broom cleaning of interior Digester walls, floors, ceilings, covers, piping, valves, draft tubes, and materials inside the Digesters. Cleaning, inspection, and testing of Gas Diffusers and associated Gas Diffuser piping for each of four (4) Digesters. Upon inspection following cleaning, City may direct Contractor to perform additional work such as repairs or installation at the Digesters or Gas Diffusers.

The City has received OBAG 3 funding for the San Antonio Complete Streets Project STPL-5309(020). The project consists of protected bikeways along North San Antonio Road connecting key commercial areas, residential areas, Civic spaces, schools, the Community Center, the Library, Downtown Los Altos, new high-density housing, Caltrain, and El Camino Real transit lines. This project seeks to create safer, more comfortable streets for all users by implementing complete streets best practices, including protected bikeways, better integration between transit and bicycles, enhanced crosswalks, preservation of existing sidewalks, and narrowed vehicle lanes. This corridor is a suggested route to school for two public schools in Los Altos. It is one of the few north-south corridors that traverses the entire city. This project also includes pavement rehabilitation to restore and maintain the existing roadway network, as well as streetscape improvements, such as streetlights. The plans will comply with the latest design standard at the time the contract is executed

In general, the project consists of the renovation of Rooms 256, 255 and 249, located in the McKee Fisk Building, from an existing photo lab into an anthropology lab. Contractor shall demolish existing photo lab doors, casework, plumbing and electrical fixtures, as well as electrical switches and outlets. Contractor shall install new architectural finishes, furniture, plumbing and electrical improvements

The project involves the preparation of a site for an interim fire station located at 2269 Alessandro Drive, covering an area of 1.9 acres. The site preparation includes soil remediation, rough grading, and concrete foundation and pavement installation. Additionally, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work will be required to support the prefabricated modular buildings, which consist of an office, an apparatus bay, and a gym. The excavation will cover a footprint of 0.67 acres to a depth of 7 feet to lower the shallow groundwater level. After dewatering the site, a 10-foot layer of compacted soil will be used to refill the excavated area according to the rough grading. The contractor will install on-site utility services and route the electricity to a city-purchased generator. To manage on-site runoff, a bio-swale will be constructed to the south of the station, directing water into the existing 12-inch storm culvert. The existing entrance driveway will be replaced with new concrete pavement. An underground sewer clarifier will also be installed on the new pavement to handle wash water from the fire trucks.

Consists in general of installing water quality treatment systems. The project will also include but not limited to installing water quality basins, storm drain pipes, storm drain cleanouts, PCC curb, gutter and sidewalk, PCC curb ramp, plane asphalt, placing asphalt, traffic signing and striping, landscape planting and water service installation. The project is Countywide, in the vicinity of Bonsall in the unincorporated areas of the County of San Diego, State of California.

Installation of complete raceway systems and testing of all wires, cables and appurtenances to bypass the existing electrical and controls set up through existing belt presses control panel to make the existing centrifuge a standalone system with independent controls.

This project replaces over 13,600 feet of of deteriorated potable water main pipelines and appurtenant gate valves, hydrants, and water services. The work also includes trench restoration, pavement restoration, alley approach reconstruction, and striping.

School Crossing Guard Service

The project consists of performing the following, including, but not limited to: The City is seeking bids to rehabilitate the existing Influent Channel ahead of the Primary Sedimentation Basins at the Wastewater Treatment Facility. The project generally involves moderate to heavy concrete channel rehabilitation and aluminum grating replacement along the primary channel in front of Primary Sedimentation Basins 1 and 2, and all associated work required for a complete installation.

In 2022, the City completed a comprehensive condition assessment of the Fire Training Tower to evaluate the impacts of long-term exposure to heat, fire, and water, as well as general wear from nearly 30 years of continuous use. The assessment identified deterioration and deficiencies including, but not limited to, corrosion and damage to interior stair systems, concrete cracking and spalling, degradation of fire-resistant materials in burn rooms, electrical system exposure issues, drainage deficiencies, and potential building code and seismic vulnerabilities. Based on the findings of the assessment, the City now intends to advance the project into the design and construction phase. This Request for Proposals seeks qualified consultant services to evaluate the current site, perform necessary hazard sampling and testing, and develop design documents based on, but not limited to, the recommendations of the prior condition assessment, including preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates suitable for bidding and construction. This project is funded through Measure I, a voter-approved general obligation bond measure approved by Santa Clara voters in November 2024. Measure I provides funding for the repair, replacement, and modernization of critical City infrastructure and public safety facilities, including fire stations. The project is subject to all applicable Measure I requirements, including use-of-funds restrictions and oversight provisions
