The 85-foot tall perimeter netting surrounding the DeLaveaga Driving Range, installed in 1999, has reached its expected product lifespan of ten to eighteen years and requires replacement. The netting's deterioration from ultraviolet light exposure, wind, and weather has led to increased maintenance costs in recent years due to repeated repairs. A section of net was replaced in 2021. The project will replace approximately 970 linear feet (LF) of golf netting with LFS Sports & Industrial Netting #930 or approved equivalent, relocate existing cables and hardware, and install new hardware. The project will also remove and replace 1,170 LF of the existing 4-foot chain-link perimeter fence and repair two access gates with new hardware and infrastructure. The contractor will dispose of all removed materials. The driving range is expected to be closed during construction
