The City is seeking to secure a firm that has the required experience, qualifications, expertise, and resources to perform the services identified in this Request for Proposal (RFP). The Consultants will perform as needed architectural design review services under the general direction of Community Development Department personnel. The City may use the list to select firms on a per-project basis or to enter into a master agreement for various projects. The City intends to review the SOQs received and identify the highest qualified Consultants. The highest qualified Consultants identified to provide services resulting from this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will remain on the pre-qualified list for approximately three (3) years. The Orange County Waste & Recycling (OCWR) currently has a need to establish a maintenance and repair service contract associated with standby diesel generators located in Prima Deschecha Landfill, Olinda Alpha Landfill, Frank R. Bowerman Landfill, and Coyote Canyon Landfill in order to support daily landfill operations without disruption. Standby diesel generators identified within this scope of work shall be fully maintained to ensure proper operation when required.

Scope of Services: The Project involves the design and construction of a new, modern fire station to support operational needs and enhance emergency response capabilities. The solicitation seeks qualified firms to provide Owner's Representative and Construction Management services from pre-design through construction closeout.

Description: Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) Remote Alarm Monitoring, Maintenance, and Repair Services, as described herein: Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to provide remote alarm monitoring, maintenance, and repair services 24 hours per day, 365 days a year at CAL FIRE Southern Region (CSR) Fresno Headquarters (HQ).

Scope of Services: The selected firm shall provide engineering, real estate (easement acquisition), landscape architecture, forestry, environmental, interpretive, communications, and construction monitoring services to ensure permit and California Environmental Quality Act compliance (including implementation of the project Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program and development and implementation of a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan) for the Project. The selected firms team shall include a professional engineer, a landscape architect, and a Registered Professional Forester, licensed to practice in the State of California. All work shall be performed under and approved by licensed professionals. Project services may include civil engineering, easement acquisition (including legal descriptions, appraisals, easement development, and easement negotiations), landscape architecture, forestry, geotechnical testing, surveying, estimating, bidding, delineating wetlands, developing wayfinding and interpretive signage, permitting, construction support (including environmental compliance monitoring) and public outreach.

The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, consists of and includes renovations to the Salt Lake Park Recreation Building such as improvements to the flooring, ceiling, lighting, walls, in the hallways, offices, conference rooms, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. These projects should aim to address environmental, public health, and economic development goals, ensuring that the cleanup and redevelopment of brownfields sites result in tangible benefits for the community.

The Construction Management Professional for the Pump Station 2 Improvements and Modernization project will be responsible for providing Construction Management Resident Engineer (CMRE) services and Inspection services for the Design-Bid-Build contract for the Pump Station 2 (PS2) Improvements and Modernization project. This project includes the upgrade, rehabilitation, and modernization of Pump Station 2 (PS2). The scope of the PS2 project includes replacement of eight vertical non-clog pumps, six pump motors, six pump motor drives, eight cone valves, eight suction wedge-type gate valves, eight discharge wedge type gate valves, and concrete patching & coating for two wet wells to ensure long-term functionality of this critical Metro System facility. Other Pump Station 2 enhancements include replacement of pump fly wheels; pump supports; pump gauges, sensors, and transmitters; installation of new pump seal water supply system; architectural rehabilitation of the Mechanical Room; structural rehabilitations throughout the facility; and additional HVAC units and ductwork for the new electrical equipment. The project will require a minimum of one CMRE for a duration of approximately 1,452 construction working days plus 40 working days start-up and 80 working days for close-out. The project will also require inspection including but not limited to structural, concrete, mechanical, welding, electrical, coating, corrosion, and instrumentation and controls (I&C). Working hours will be during daytime, however some nighttime or weekend work may be required to ensure completion of the work and changes to the working hours could be required through the contract duration in order to meet specific project needs.

The Project is located at 18480 Bandilier Circle, Fountain Valley, CA 92708. The project scope includes installing 22 dedicated circuits across 6 pantries and 2 breakrooms at OC SANs Headquarters Building. Each pantry will receive 2 (N) under-cabinet mounted receptacles, and each breakroom will receive 1 (N) under-cabinet mounted receptacle. Existing receptacles in the pantry and breakroom will be separated onto its own dedicated circuit.
