Project Scope: The Work includes elevator modernization and security upgrades at the train station at 601 Marina Vista Road in the City of Martinez. The Work includes the following: Elevator Modernization: Replacement of machine room equipment, replacement of hoist way door equipment, replacement of car door operators and components, replacement of interior cab enclosure and finishes, replacement and upgrade of signal and operating systems, associated electrical, mechanical, and structural modifications required to support new equipment, code compliance upgrades triggered by modernization. Security upgrades: Installation of gates and security screening at outdoor mechanical area and alcove, coordination with structural supports and mechanical, access requirements, and all appurtenant work.

In general, required services shall consist of various transportation planning and engineering services related to the Citys South Broad Street Corridor Project. The selected consultant will lead community outreach and complete a safety assessment to inform the development of a corridor plan with preliminary design concepts identifying both short-term and long-term safety improvements.
