Notice is hereby given that electronic requests for proposals will be received at the City of Gilroy, for Preparation of a new Parks and Recreational Trails Master Plan

Project Description: The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for pavement delineation and necessary traffic handling, in addition to other items or details not mentioned above, as required by the plans and specifications, shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed.

The project site consists of a narrow, roughly 1-acre stretch of land, situated along the Santa Ana River just north of W. Chapman Ave., between N. Rampart St. and the Santa Ana River Bike Trail. The site was acquired by the City of Orange through a long-term lease agreement with Orange County Public Works. There are mature trees existing on the site, including Coast Live Oak, Western Sycamore, and several large Eucalyptus. The City intends to develop a new passive park on the site with amenities, to potentially include walking path(s), an enclosed dog amenity, bench seating, native landscaping, drinking fountain/bottle filler/dog watering station, trash receptacle(s), fencing, and signage. The design should consider and incorporate, where possible, the existing trees and minimize disruption to existing root zones. The design should include the use of durable, low maintenance materials and landscaping. A general site concept plan has been prepared for the City and is included in Attachment B.

The City of Orange, a Municipal Corporation, is requesting proposals from qualified professional design firms, for design services and corresponding preparation of construction plans, specifications, fee estimates, bidding and construction support for the El Modena Basin Area Improvements Design Project. The project may also include the preparation of an appropriate California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) document and all necessary supportive technical studies. Through a 1973 use agreement with Orange County Flood Control District (OCFCD), the City operates the El Modena Basin, located north of the intersection of S. Hewes Street and E. Jordan Avenue, as a public park. Existing amenities include a decomposed granite (DG) walking path around the basin reservoir, limited open space, and minimal site furnishings. This project will enhance and expand the parks functionality by improving the existing DG path to provide a continuous, ADA-accessible loop with improved grading and by utilizing solar-powered fixtures to provide much needed area and pathway lighting throughout the site. Additional improvements will include irrigation upgrades and new landscaping and trees, along with the potential addition of shaded seating and picnic areas, drinking fountain/bottle filler/dog watering station(s), trash receptacles, and signage. The project is intended to strengthen connectivity to adjacent community assets, including El Modena Library, El Modena Park, and surrounding neighborhoods.

The City of Oxnard, Public Works Wastewater Division is seeking bidders for Storm Channel Cleaning Services. The intent is to ensure that storm channels are kept clean of waste and debris to allow for an uninterrupted and unimpeded flow of stormwater to the ocean.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Escondido, a California municipal corporation, is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to provide geotechnical and special inspection services for Utilities Capital Improvement Projects, on an as-needed basis. The City of Escondido Utilities Department is seeking qualified consultants to provide geotechnical support such as collecting soil samples for proctor tests to accompany soil compaction testing for earthwork operations and performing special inspections for structural concrete construction on water, wastewater, recycled water, and stormwater infrastructure projects. Services will be authorized on a task-order basis, depending on the consultants specialty and availability, and the Citys project needs. Work under this contract may include, but is not limited to pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facility projects; utility infrastructure rehabilitation projects; in-situ soil assessments; and construction-phase geotechnical support. Consultants may be tasked with providing the City with geotechnical expert, evidence-based opinions on soil, rock and foundational matters to help resolve construction-related issues.

The City of Lomita is requesting proposals from experienced and qualified engineering firm(s) to provide on-call construction management and inspection to support the City of Lomitas needs. The City is seeking services of qualified firms to provide on-call construction management, inspection, labor compliance and materials testing services for various capital improvement projects on an on-call basis. This request for proposal has been issued for the purpose of selecting multiple firms, as deemed necessary, to act as oncall independent contractors to perform the type and scope of work listed in Section 5 as requested by the City. The City intends to enter into non-exclusive multi-year agreements with multiple firms as deemed necessary to fulfill the Citys needs. The multi-year agreements will consist of 3 years with 3 additional one-year extension options by mutual consent. The multi-year agreements may include annual escalation of rates for services subject to review and approval of the City.

In general, the proposed improvements consist of mobilization, traffic control and construction signing, stormwater pollution prevention plan and implementation, record of construction changes, full depth pavement repair, trench repairs, surface preparation and crack seal/fill, pavement delineation striping and signing, constructing asphalt berms, cold milling, full depth pavement repairs, utility cover adjustments, speed bumps, placement of 2 asphalt-rubber hot mix overlay on Portshead Rd, Boniface Dr, Grayfox St and Wildlife Rd, and placement of slurry seal overlay on Selfridge Dr, and Wildlife Rd, and all other appurtenant work included and shown in the Contract Documents and Specifications.

The Lake County Sheriffs Office is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide janitorial cleaning services for law enforcement facilities located in Lakeport, California. The selected contractor shall provide routine janitorial services for an approximately 15,000 square foot primary facility and an approximately 2,000 square foot secondary facility located on the same campus.
