The work necessary for the completion of this contract consists of obtaining City Building Permits, demolishing existing CMU trash enclosure, removing and disposing of existing on-site improvements, construct new trash CMU trash enclosure, concrete work, and restriping of parking spaces at the following locations: Balboa Pier Parking Lot and Corona del Mar Beach Municipal Lot.

The work consists of installing Class II bicycle lanes along Racquet Club Road and North Farrell Drive between North Palm Canyon Drive and Via Escuela, including associated signing, striping, and pavement improvements. The project will reconfigure the existing roadway from four travel lanes to a threelane section with one travel lane in each direction, a twoway leftturn lane, and strategically located curbside parking.

Project Description: The work consists in general of replacement of the Sodium Hypochlorite Building Roof and HVAC Unit.

The work may include, but is not limited to, trenching, excavation, and shoring for underground electric conduit systems, duct banks, and associated facilities; excavation for the installation, removal, replacement, repair, or relocation of primary vaults, junction boxes, secondary pull boxes, transformer pads, equipment foundations, and related underground structures; installation, repair, replacement, and restoration of streetlight foundations and associated underground infrastructure; relocation, modification, repair, and protection of existing conduit systems, including conduits located within joint utility trenches or beneath existing utilities and infrastructure; locating, exposing, potholing, supporting, and protecting existing underground facilities and utilities to prevent damage during construction; furnishing and placement of bedding material, backfill, compaction, trench slurry, imported material, and restoration of disturbed areas; saw cutting, removal, replacement, and restoration of asphalt concrete pavement, sidewalks, curb and gutter, driveways, concrete surfaces, landscaping, and other public or private improvements disturbed by the work; furnishing and implementation of traffic control, pedestrian access control, signage, barricades, and public safety measures; dewatering, groundwater control, erosion control, and environmental protection measures necessary to perform the work; emergency excavation, fault-locating support, temporary repairs, and emergency response activities required to restore electric service or secure facilities; site preparation, grading, access improvements, clearing, demolition, and restoration; hauling, importing, stockpiling, recycling, and lawful disposal of excavated, unsuitable, or excess material; and other incidental excavation, civil construction, and restoration work reasonably necessary to support REU underground electric utility operations and projects

SLAC is seeking a qualified general contractor to perform construction work to mitigate soil erosion in an area referred to as Sector 30.This project aims to remove and replace the current failed pavement, slope, earthwork, and storm drain and install permanent vegetation and erosion control measures.

Monterey-Salinas Transit District (MST) is soliciting statements of information from qualified firms for the removal of in-ground vehicle lifts and concrete slab restoration, as described in more detail in the scope of work herein. The location for this project is MSTs CJW Operations and Maintenance Facility located at 443 Victor Way in Salinas, CA 93907. Work shall include full demolition, proper disposal of all components, engineered backfill, and concrete slab restoration to support future use with mobile lifting equipment.

Design-Builder will be responsible for the design and construction of the Project by furnishing all labor, material, equipment, services, and support facilities for the Work. The following is a brief overview of the basic services the selected Design-Builder will be required to perform during Phase 1 and Phase 2 (if awarded) of the Project: Validate the Project program, budget, scope, and schedule. The City is currently developing the Project definition documents regarding the program, budget, scope and schedule and these documents will be shared with shortlisted Respondents during the Proposal Phase. Facilitate collaborative design scoping workshops inclusive of City, Owners Project Manager, and design and construction personnel from the Design-Builder to develop a set of scope documents outlining and describing in detail the complete scope of the Project. Perform and produce initial studies, reports, and investigations during design initiation, including, but not limited to, geotechnical investigation and report, environmental monitoring, investigation, and remediations plans, hazardous materials investigations, topographic survey, and utility mapping to inform the design and engineering of the Project. City has conducted preliminary investigations that will be provided in the Proposal Phase to shortlisted Respondent as information only. Development of all required plans, specifications, studies, and reports required for the Work during design development, including surveys and geotechnical reports, based on design scoping workshops and investigations during design initiation. Development of a contracting plan, including, but not limited to, procuring trade contractors as appropriate in collaboration with the City and the Owners Project Manager. Development of cost modeling and cost estimates for the Construction Documents (plans and specifications), enabling the City and the Design-Builder to negotiate a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the Work and execute an amendment for Phase 2. Manage design and construction of the Project including, but not limited to, obtaining required clearances, licenses, and permits for Work, Work sites, storage areas, etc., both on and off-site. Coordination with Project stakeholders under City and Owners Project Manager direction. Provide quality assurance and quality control during design and construction of the Project. Develop a comprehensive project baseline schedule including, but not limited to, procurement of long-lead time items. Provide Project safety and security, including accommodation of coordination of large groups around the Project. Installation of drainage and erosion control. Provide site clearance and preparation. Provide construction waste disposal and handling. Coordination with Project-related public involvement activities.
