The Work includes, but is not limited to removal, abatement, cleanup, encapsulation and other methods of managing regulated materials. Saw cutting and core drilling into regulated materials, and the removal of regulated materials during and after such activities. Regulated materials include but are not limited to asbestos, lead containing paint, Polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) caulking, PCB and non-PCB light ballasts, and mold and other biological hazards.

University of Washington, through UW Facilities Project Delivery Group, is requesting Proposals from contractors interested in providing the design, specifications, fabrication, and installation of the Infrastructure Renewal Fire/Life Safety (Fire panels) Project. The state has provided funding for the project, and a priority list of building upgrades has been developed.

Requires planning bituminous pavement, pavement repair, hot mix asphalt (HMA) paving, traffic signal and ITS work, pavement markings, ADA curb ramps, temporary erosion control, temporary traffic control and other work. Involves 99 items and 95 working days. Work class 4, asphalt concrete paving. Tier 2 project. DBE goal 16%.

Work includes but is not limited to: 1. Good faith asbestos inspection(s) testing to comply with RCW 49.26.013 as required to achieve scope of work. 2. Removal and replacement of all existing roofing materials 3. Inspect all exposed roof framing for any rot or damaged materials and repair as needed. 4. Block and seal any existing gable vents from attic interior. 5. Provide and install new CDX plywood deck sheathing and roofing materials according to manufacturers recommended installation specifications. 6. Provide and install all new approved roofing system components: a. Install approved Ice and Water shield roof underlayment to all critical areas and valleys. b. Install approved synthetic roof underlayment. c. Install approved composition roofing system. and other tasks as noted in the bid documents.

In general, the scope includes: 1,050 SF of tenant improvements to (4) restrooms. Improvements include, but are not limited to: demolition of interior and exterior walls and doors; demolition of plumbing fixtures; demolition of ceiling finishes, lighting and mechanical equipment; demolition of floor finishes down to the underlying structure; construction of new walls and hollow metal doors; installation of new ceiling, wall ,and floor finishes; installation of new plumbing fixtures; installation of toilet partitions and restroom accessories; installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems. Mandatory 15% apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a requirement of the construction contract. Voluntary numerical Diverse Business goals of 10% MBE, 6% WBE, 5% SBE or PWSBE, and 5% Veterans have been established for this project. Achievement of the goals is encouraged.

Demolition of existing wood-framed grandstand structure, and field lighting. Construction of new concrete grandstand structure and dugouts, new field lighting. Associated sitework and utilities. Requires pavement repair excavation including haul, asphalt furnishing and placing crushed screenings, crack sealing, planing and paving existing rumble strip, planing bituminous pavement, hot mix asphalt (HMA) for pre-leveling and pavement repair, HMA, delineation, permanent signing, traffic control and other work. Involves 61 items and 65 working days. Work class 3, bituminous surface treatment or work class 4, asphalt concrete paving. A federally funded contract with a 16% federal small business enterprise goal.

Requires paving by planing bituminous pavement, hot mix asphalt (HMA) paving, rumble strip installation, recessed pavement marker installation, permanent striping, temporary erosion control, temporary traffic control and other work. Involves 36 items and 35 working days. Work class 4, asphalt concrete paving. A federally funded contract with a 20% federal small business enterprise goal.

The project includes the development of a new well facility at the Lake Avenue K-3 Well site. The project will include well equipping with well pump, motor, and accessories, on-site sodium hypochlorite generation system and associated treatment appurtenances, a new Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) well pump and treatment building, site and utility improvements, and associated electrical and control systems. It will also include piping and system updates to consolidate chlorination for the existing K-1 and K-2 wells.

Prequalification required. This project includes installing approximately 1,500 LF of 8" DI watermain on W Center St, Stafford St, Cedar St, and Poplar St in the City of Leavenworth. This project will include, but is not limited to, fittings, valves, hydrants, and water services as well as all roadway restoration required due to the nature of the watermain work.

The University of Washington, Medical Center Northwest Hospital Roof Replacement Project is located at 1550 N 115th Street Main Hospital, Seattle, WA 98133. The work of this project is limited to the B-wing roof areas as indicated on the Project Drawings. The goal of this project is to replace the aged and degraded roof membrane. Mandatory apprentice utilization of at least 15% of the total labor hours worked on the contract is required.

There are three (3) sites associated with this project. The work to be performed shall be along the north side of SE Cedar Falls Way from the RRFB crossing located east of Stilson Ave SE to the existing sidewalk at the Cottages at North Bend Development frontage; the east side of SE Orchard Dr from SE 5th St to Orchard Place Townhomes; and the west side of 436th Ave SE from the roundabout at SE 136th St to the roundabout at SE North Bend Way. The Work will consist of, but is not limited to, sidewalk, curb and gutter, bike ramps, curb ramps, surface restoration including construction of a parking lot, storm drain collection and conveyance, JUT construction and other Work as required to complete the Project.

In general, the scope includes: The renovation to science lab T156 and T155 prep room (~1,530 SF) in the T-Building on the Columbia Basin College Campus. The tenant Improvement consists of updated finishes, new Llab casework, replaced fume hood, and new plumbing fixtures. Work consists of civil site improvements at Liberty Bell Junior/Senior High School, including but not limited to removal and replacement of existing concrete sidewalks and asphalt paving, subgrade preparation, permeable ballast subbase, new concrete flatwork, trench drain and underdrain systems, and related site restoration. Work is organized as a Base Bid with Additives A through E covering sidewalk replacement areas around the perimeter of the school building.
