Project Description: This Job Order Contract(s) (JOC) provides a different contracting method to complete various types of horizontal construction work, maintenance and improvements. The type of work to be conducted by the JOC will vary, including work on roads, flood control infrastructure, airports, parks, and landscaping, such as pavement repairs and replacement, crack seal, slurry seal, skin patching, asphalt concrete cold planning, pavement leveling, shoulder widening, hot mix asphalt paving, storm damage repair work, rock slope protection, slope stabilization, culvert repair work, concrete structure repair work, vegetation planting and maintenance, and park improvements and maintenance.

The project includes sound attenuation improvements for certain residences around San Diego International Airport. The project includes 32 dwelling units located on 16 historic residential properties. Sound attenuation improvements may include, but are not limited to, replacement of windows and exterior doors, finely detailed, field-executed finish carpentry, and improvements to add air conditioning, ventilation and electrical work to support such systems. The work will include the demolition and modification of existing construction to install new windows and doors and, in some cases, may require temporary weatherproof closures. In addition, the contract work may include removal and disposal of asbestos-containing building materials. Bidder is not permitted to perform any asbestos-related work unless bidder possesses a California State Contractors License and is certified pursuant to Section 7058.6 of the California State Business and Professions Code. If a certified subcontractor is used, the subcontractors license and certification number shall be submitted by the bidder within the Bid Submission Documents.

This project consists of replacing existing water mains throughout the City of South Gate. The project also includes the installation of valves, fittings, service laterals, fire hydrants, connections to existing mains, and all related appurtenances. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct, test, and place the new water mains into service, as well as abandon the existing potable water service lines, in accordance with the plans and specifications.

The work generally consists of the installation of city purchased MUSCO sports field lighting (includes piers, poles, and light fixtures) at two separate City owned parks. Chosen contractor will be responsible for receiving, storing, and installing the field lights and all electrical components.

Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside, 541330 - Engineering Services. The objective of this requirement is to obtain professional contractor support services that enhance MESG ONEs ability to develop, deliver, and sustain standardized training and readiness programs in alignment with Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) (e.g., NAVEDTRA M-142 requirements) and higher headquarters guidance. Contractor support will ensure the development, maintenance, and delivery of curriculum and policy that directly addresses these gaps, while supporting MESG ONE initiatives to project and prepare for future training and readiness requirements.

The objective of this project is to identify and install alternative power technology and establish Pittsburg Power service at the WTP to supplement the energy consumption of the WTP with off-grid, less expensive energy. The treatment plant currently draws over 4 million kilowatts of electricity from regional energy provider- Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E), resulting in over $1 million in energy costs each year, which are passed on to residents. The Water Treatment Plant is located in the City of Pittsburg in Contra Costa County, CA, see Figure 1 below. A general map of the citythe Water Treatment Plants service area is shown in Figure 2

The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. Works consists of traffic signal, fiber optic communication, ITS, and ADA ramp improvements along Pioneer Boulevard from 166th Street to Lakeland Road, and includes, but not limited to furnishing and installing conduit, pull boxes, countdown pedestrian signal heads, accessible pedestrian signals and push buttons, push button posts, traffic signal poles, traffic signal cabinets, advanced transportation controllers, malfunctioning monitoring units (MMU), battery backup systems (BBS), service cabinets, video detection systems, detector loops, safety lighting, luminaires, internally illuminated street name signs, traffic signal cabinets, communication hub cabinets, fiber optic cable, advanced transportation controllers, fiber distribution units, fiber optic splicing, wireless radios, and Ethernet switches. Contractor shall be fully installed, configured, integrated, tested and commissioned to the manufacturer's specifications, these Special Provisions, and the project plans.

The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. The project involves upgrading signal hardware, installation of new pedestrian countdown signal heads, installation of American with Disabilities Act compliant curb ramps, and updating the signal timing coordination at specific locations along the entire project corridor.

The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. The project involves rehabilitation of existing asphalt pavement on Carmenita Road from 550 feet north of Excelsior Drive to Rosecrans Avenue. The project will also construct concrete sidewalks, curb and gutter, cross gutters, driveways, curb access ramps, retaining curbs, retaining walls, signing, striping and appurtenant work. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the City Engineer.

Additional corridor improvements include the installation of a new Class IV protected bike path, designed to enhance multimodal safety through physical separation. The project also includes the complete replacement of traffic striping and pavement markings to ensure high visibility and compliance with current safety standards

The City of Colton Public Works & Utility Services Department is seeking proposals from qualified engineering professionals to provide construction management services for the La Cadena Drive Over Santa Ana River Bridge Replacement Project. The project proposes to replace the existing La Cadena Drive Bridge over the Santa Ana River. The new bridge will include two 12-foot lanes, two 14-foot lanes, two 9.5-foot bike lanes with buffers, two 7.5-foot sidewalks, and a 10-foot curbed median. This proposed project will also include relocating utilities, either into or outside the new bridge, as needed; constructing retaining walls, temporary rerouting of bike paths and installing signage.
