The County of San Diego is seeking quotes from firms interested in providing As-Needed Public Safety In-Building Radio Design, Coverage, and Maintenance Services. The County of San Diego, Sheriff's Office, Wireless Services Division (WSD), maintains the Regional Communications System (RCS) Network. This network is a trunked simulcast voice system consisting of at least 60 radio sites used for public safety and public service radio communications. The County has a requirement for as-needed in-building public safety radio coverage assessment, design, analysis, installation and maintenance services from a qualified and experienced public safety radio communications firm (Contractor) for projects in San Diego and Imperial counties.

The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals to perform the work shown in the Plans, Specifications, and contract documents. The general items of work include, but not limited to: traffic control, trenching, and landscape excavation, demolition of existing improvements, grading, construction of concrete improvements like sidewalks, curb ramps, driveways, cold milling, concrete and 2 sawcut extension for asphalt paving placement (pertaining to construction of curb and gutters), and other improvements as shown on Plans and described in these specifications.

The work to be performed or executed under these plans and specifications includes removal of existing sidewalk and curb & gutter and the construction of new PCC curb ramps with curb & gutter and a minimum 4 HMA plug; and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary for the proper construction of the contemplated improvements, as indicated on the project plans and specifications. Del Mar Union School District (District) is requesting proposals for organic, recycling, and trash waste disposal services from all district sites. The Del Mar Union School District educates approximately 3,500 students within an 8.5 square mile area that serves north San Diego County communities of the coastal city of Del Mar, the Carmel Valley community, and parts of the Del Mar Mesa and Torrey Hills neighborhoods in San Diego. The District is comprised of ten (10) locations. The District operates nine (9) elementary schools and one (1) maintenance building. In addition to traditional hauling, organics, and recyclables processing and disposal services, the District is interested in a contractor who will be proactive in helping the District manage all waste and recyclables more cost-effectively.

The work to be done consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, HUD requirements for CDBG funded projects and Contract Documents. Additionally, all service companies shall comply with all applicable AQMD, Federal, State, Local and California State Fire Marshalls requirements for all of the types of services to be provided in this bid document.

Scope of Work: The work to be performed includes project management and administration, obtaining necessary permits, drilling one (1) test hole and subsequent geophysical logging, zone testing, and abandonment of test hole.
