The Project includes the following Work: Install 4-5 feet wide sidewalk along the western side of Ray Avenue +-190 LF and the northern side of Mason Street +- 545 LF; +- 1878 LF of sidewalk along Morganton Rd and South Herndon St from St. Marys Parkway to Cliffdale Rd; +- 738 LF of sidewalk along Old Wilmington Rd to connect to existing sidewalk.

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to seek competitive proposals from qualified vendors to establish an Agency Contract to provide The North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Management (NCEM) with Emergency waste collection and disposal services throughout the 100 Counties of North Carolina and the Territory of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indian, on an as needed, emergency response basis. NCEM is a government organization that administers state and federal emergency management programs enabled by the Federal Stafford Act and Chapter 166A of the North Carolina General statutes. NCEM is charged with responding to any emergency, man-made or natural, 24 hours a day seven (7) days a week. This requires that the awarded Vendor(s) have personnel and the capability to respond to order requests after hours, weekends and during holidays. This All-Hazard Contract is therefore required to meet both small scale and large-scale needs, as well as to address short and long term distribution system disruptions. Based on emergency need, the State may require multiple sites and temporary infrastructure support.

This project consists of pedestrian improvements along US 74/76 (Eastwood Road) from Rogersville Road to Cavalier Drive. The improvements include, but are not limited to grading, multi-use paths, curb and gutter, landscaped medians, drainage, signal work, and asphalt paving.

This project improves the domestic water service to the Horticultural Field Labs and the Dearstyne Complex by extending a new water line service and connection from Beryl Road and by installing a loop connection in existing piping serving the Dearstyne Complex. The AMS Science & Technology Program operates a greenhouse facility requiring the installation of a stacked washer and dryer to support laboratory and operational needs. The program already owns a Samsung frontload washer and dryer set, which is compatible with stackable installation. A stacking kit needs to be supplied and installed as part of the project. The installation area is located along an exterior wall in the greenhouse entryway. Existing plumbing must be reconfigured, and new electrical, ventilation, and structural modifications are required.

This project installs a rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB) to improve safety and ADA accessibility at the Arrowood Rd and High Meadows Ln intersection.

The project generally consists of demolition of (1) existing pit toilet and (2) existing shower houses at the campground in hanging rock state park and replacement with two (2) new 1,260 sf shower houses with four (4) new parking spaces at each shower house. The Chapel Hill Police Department is a heavily used, 40,000-square-foot 24-hour facility that serves town employees and community members. The building contains a prisoner processing area with a single-occupancy restroom (we do not keep prisoners on site), shared conference rooms, a large break room with a sink, microwave, and stove, two (2) briefing areas on either end of the building, two (2) large classroom spaces that may be used daily or may not be used for many days in a row, two (2) multi-stall restrooms, numerous single-occupancy restrooms, and a variety of work rooms and offices. Town of Chapel Hill Technology Solutions is a daily Information Technology (IT) operation housed in approximately 6,500 square feet of office space that includes a large conference room, open space housing workstations, staff offices, a break room, and single-occupancy restrooms. This space is co located with the Towns Office of Emergency Management and Risk Management. The Town of Chapel Hill Office of Emergency Preparedness and Risk Management house the Towns emergency preparedness and response operations. This space consists of two (2) offices and a large Emergency Operations Center. During emergencies, this space may be occupied 24 hours per day. The Contractor will be required to properly manage the waste collection process (trash and mixed recycling). The Contractors full array of cleaning products must be certified by Green Seal or the Environmental Protection Agencys (EPA) Safer Choice program (unless other products are specifically allowed by the Contract Coordinator). The Town is seeking a Janitorial Service Vendor to provide cleaning services five (5) days per week between the hours of 6:15 P.M. and 2:00 A.M., excluding holidays. Work shall be coordinated so as not to interfere with evening meetings scheduled in the facility.

Manhole WC21 located at Grizzly Court, Havelock, NC 28532 shall be replaced in addition to approximately 40 feet of 8-inch PVC SDR35 Gravity Sewer Pipe; each approximately 12 feet deep. Contractor shall remove and dispose of the current manhole and structure and replace the manhole with a precast concrete manhole constructed with a 6-inch ballast ring. The PVC pipe is to be replaced at the influent side of WC21 for approximately 20 feet and the effluent side of WC21 for approximately 20 feet starting at manhole WC21 for both directions. Contractor shall use PVC SDR35 for the influent and effluent piping.

Design, furnish, install, configure, and maintain a comprehensive and non-proprietary video surveillance system to enhance safety and security at designated administrative offices and/or residential properties. The system shall provide high-quality video monitoring, recording, storage, and remote access capabilities in compliance with applicable HUD Procurement and Federal Requirements.

Engineering services shall include, but are not limited to, standard tasks necessary for the implementation of the project in conformance with NCDEQ compliance areas: 1. Preparing and approval of the engineering report prior to the Release of Funds; Upon the Release of Funds, the following scope of work is required: 1. Preparing the final design and construction bid package in conformance with applicable regulations and requirements. 2. Ensuring compliance with Davis-Bacon wage and American Iron and Steel requirements. 3. Supervising the bid advertising, tabulation, and award process, including preparing the advertisements for bid solicitations, conducting pre-bid meeting, conducting bid opening, and issuing the notice to proceed. 4. Conducting the pre-construction conference. 5. Surveying, field staking, on-site supervising of construction work, and preparing inspection reports. 6. Reviewing and approving all contractor requests for payment, change orders, and submitting approved requests to the governing body. 7. Providing reproducible plan drawings to the Town upon project completion. 8. Conducting final inspection and testing. 9. Submitting certified "as-built" drawings to appropriate authorities and 10. Preparing an operation and maintenance manual (if applicable).

The purpose of this process is to procure the services for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of (WE)s pad mount transformers and related equipment. The successful bidder will be responsible for ensuring that WEs transformers meet all safety, operational, and regulatory standards, while also providing timely and accurate reporting of equipment conditions. Work includes but is not limited to: 1. Physical inspection of transformers and other related equipment by request. 2. Assess the condition of the transformers and other related equipment. 3. Assess the failure risk of the transformers and other related equipment. 4. Submittal of a report detailing findings, assessments, further actions, and recommendations. 5. Present findings and remediation services to Wilson Energy at a date to be determined as requested. 6. Maintenance related services offered related to the equipment based on findings.
