Kitsap Transit is seeking to contract with a qualified contractor to complete as needed marine welding repair and emergency service under a unit price contract. Contractor shall meet the requirements of section IX of the ASME code and have USCG endorsement for welding of aluminum vessel structure. Contractor shall provide proof of these certifications to Kitsap Transit during the bid process. Contractor shall be able to weld materials such as, but not limited to, stainless steel, aluminum, copper nickel, and carbon steel. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment. Kitsap Transit marine facilities are equipped with 50amps and 100amps, depending on the facility. DBE goal for Federal fiscal year 2026 is 1.98%.
1. Remove and legally dispose of existing overhead doors and associated components, including tracks, springs, and hardware. 2. Provide and install new commercial-grade insulated steel sectional overhead doors at the Metal Shop and Wood Shop locations. 3. Doors shall be minimum 2 thick with track and hardware suitable for the opening size and application. 4.
