The purpose of this contract is to provide construction management and inspection services on a work order basis for King County Department of National Resources and Parks, Parks and Recreation Division. The exact disciplines required and the amount of work for each discipline has not been determined. The Consultant should be capable of adding disciplines expeditiously as necessary to meet the needs of specific work orders. There is no guarantee that all services in this Scope of Work will be used.

Scope Prior to start of work at McNeil Island Barge Slip, Contractor is required to remove and store the following, for later reinstallation by Contractor: 1. 3-0 x 10-0 Hot-Dipped Galvanized Wheel Track Wear Strips This project is for the Department of Corrections, McNeil Island Stewardship - Marine Infrastructure Repairs (McNeil Island Marine Facilities) project and includes all materials, labor, transportation, equipment and services required for the completion of the project for the Department of Corrections, as detailed and described in the project drawings and specifications. Includes improvements and repairs to Marine Timber and Steel Piles, Concrete Floating Docks, a Barge Slip and Barge Mooring Anchors. These improvements occur on property managed by the State of Washington Department of Corrections on McNeil Island in Pierce County, Washington. The drawings and/or specifications may not name every incidental item or work element required, but which shall be provided at no additional cost if necessary to meet the operational requirements. In preparing this bid proposal and in executing the work, the Contractor shall apply all of his technical training and knowledge, as well as his expertise in completing of this type of work, in interpreting the design documents and in his review of the project site and shall include in the bid proposal and the project all of the incidental products and work as may be necessary to provide a fully completed and operational integrated system. Mandatory 15% apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a requirement of the construction contract. Voluntary numerical Diverse Business goals of 10% MBE, 6% WBE, 5% SBE or PWSBE, and 5% Veterans have been established for this project. Achievement of the goals is encouraged.

In general, the scope includes: 1. Admissions Building: replace the steam heating with electric heating. 2. Applied Arts Building: retrofit it's steam heating system with electric heating, interior finish updates to several classrooms, removal of exterior asbestos paneling at south exterior wall, updated parapet flashing, and new finish on the courtyard canopy. 3. Student Services Building: Replace a large central water heater and storage tank, and replace damaged fire doors. 4. Main Building: replace rooftop units and ductwork and replace the lower roof and associated flashing. 5. Home and Family Life Building: replace the fire alarm system. Alternate: Applied Arts Building: Exterior painting, siding replacement, sheetmetal coping replacement as shown on sheets A221P, A301P, A302P, and A601P. Work being performed includes, but not limited to. is a general outline and is not intended to be a complete listing of the work to be accomplished nor is it intended to be used to indicate the order the work is to be completed. All items listed below is a general list of items included in the work and should be verified prior to bidding. The Work includes but is not limited to the supply and installation of all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to perform the work in full. Base Bid includes the following items 1. Controls and HVAC renovations. 2. Ceiling and finish repairs. 3. Associated electrical support work. 4. Site cleanup and restoration. Work under the Contract shall also include: 1. Protection of work in place and all stored items relating to the work. 2. Moving of any stored items or temporary facility where it interferes with work by the Owner or under separate contract.

Work consists of the replacement of sixteen (16) exterior decks, the supporting walls between the decks, railings, siding, flashing, deck membranes, painting and other related assemblies to match new decks completed in previous phases. The lower floor patio is off-line as the two decks above are reconstructed. The patio (lower floor) gets a new post to support above structures and will be blocked off from residents use until completion above, and other tasks as listed in the bid documents.

The project entails resurfacing the Whitehorse Regional Trail from Arlington (MP 0.0) to Bridge 701 (MP 2.63) as shown in the project plans and described in the specifications. The following scope elements are part of the Base Contract: sediment and erosion control, clearing, grubbing, grading, installation of geotextile material, installation of base course and top course materials with compaction, and seeding.

This Contract shall generally consist of rail and tie replacement, replacing one switch, removing and replacing one crossover, and replacing one driveway crossing. Other work will include upgrading hardware to Pandrols in specific areas.

Services are anticipated to include, but are not limited to, project management, design review, construction coordination, and general engineering support. The selected Firm (Staff Member) will work under the direction of City staff and may be assigned to multiple projects or programs as needed, however, Firm willnotbe able to select or manage any projects that their Firm may be involved in whether as a Prime Consultant or Sub-Consultant. In addition, the City seeks professionals capable of providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff, including Engineers-in-Training (EITs), to support staff development and capacity building.

The City of Bellingham solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in Civil Design. This agreement will be for approximately seven months in duration, beginning September 2026 and ending March 2027, with the option for the City of Bellingham to extend it for additional time and money if necessary.Work consists of preparing preliminary engineering design for Downtown Signalized Intersection Accessibility and Safety Improvements Project. The project will improve signals and related infrastructure at three downtown intersections, including the intersections of Railroad Ave. with Magnolia St., Holly St., and Chestnut St. This project has a 0% FSBE goal with a 10% SBE voluntary goal.

Work includes but is not limited to: 1. Good faith asbestos inspection(s) testing to comply with RCW 49.26.013 as required to achieve scope of work. 2. Removal and replacement of all existing roofing materials and 40 of plywood deck sheathing as well as 400LF of fascia board. 3. Inspect all exposed roof framing for any rot or damaged materials and repair as needed. 4. Block and seal any existing gable vents from attic interior. 5. Provide and install new CDX plywood deck sheathing and roofing materials according to manufacturers recommended installation specifications. 6. Provide and install all new approved roofing system components: a. Install approved Ice and Water shield roof underlayment to all critical areas and valleys. b. Install approved synthetic roof underlayment. c. Install approved composition roofing system. 7. Install Metal Roof Vent with minimum 50 sq.in Net Free Area ventilation. Total free area of ventilation must meet code requirements for attic ventilation. 8. Install Cor-A-Vent IN-Vent Attic Roof Vent or approved equal. Block eave vents after installation. 9. Install all metal 24-gauge flashing components according to manufacturers recommendations including roof penetration flashing, roof to wall flashing, eave and rake flashings and W-Valley flashing. 10. Install permanent fall arrest/restraint roof anchors and all other accessory items to complete the installation and maintenance of the roof in a safe and secure manner. 11. Install new fascia boards where there is any decay or rot that would prevent the exterior paint to be applied and warranted. Include painting of all fascia prior to installation of new gutters. (See Section 1.5 UNIT COSTS for details.) 12. Install new 5 K-style aluminum gutters and 2x3 aluminum downspouts to match existing locations. 13. Haul away and dispose of all debris and demolished materials. 14. Include painting all b-vent flashings, roof accessories and lead pipe flashings as needed. 15. Daily cleaning and final cleaning of all trash and debris. 16. Prevailing wage rates to be included. 17. Acceptable roofing products must meet these warranty requirements: Contractors workmanship warranty for a period of two (2) years from final completion. Subcontractors labor and materials for a period of two (2) years from final completion. Roofing manufacturers warranty of 100% materials and labor for five (5) years without proration or reductions. Roofing manufacturers 40-year warranty for materials. 18. Provide all applicable permits.

This contract provides for construction of a bus training facility for Link Transit and security fencing upgrades for the Washington State Patrol directly north of Link Transits headquarters. The work includes grading, excavation, asphalt, curbing, stormwater piping, catch basins, fencing, gates, and other work.

Requires: grading, asphalt paving, concrete paving, roundabout construction, stormwater facilities, structures over Yelm Creek and the Yelm Prairie Line Trail, retaining walls, noise wall, utility relocations, signing, rapid-rectangular flashing beacon signals, illumination, closed-circuit television cameras, intelligent transportation systems (ITS) conduit and fiber, roadside restoration, traffic control and other work. Involves 295 items and 705 working days. Work class 1, clearing, grubbing, grading and drainage. Tier 3 project. A state funded contract with a 5% condition of award public works small business enterprise goal and a 3% condition of award veteran owned business goal.

Requires: excavation of roadway fill and slide debris, installing a pipe in the drainage trench, backfilling the excavations with light loose riprap and quarry spalls, installation of a drainage headwall, construction of a maintenance foot path and vehicle access, hot mix asphalt (HMA) saw cut and seal, HMA paving, traffic control and other work. Involves 40 items and 45 working days. Work class 1, clearing, grubbing, grading and draining. A federally funded contract with a 16% federal small business enterprise goal.

Base Bid: Renovations and upgrades to existing restrooms, laundry room and replacement of existing HVAC system. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of existing architectural, plumbing, HVAC, fire sprinkler, fire alarm and electrical elements, and installation of new architectural, plumbing, HVAC fire sprinkler, fire alarm and electrical elements. Alternate 1 Fire Alarm Replacement: Work includes, but is not limited to, a full new bidderdesigned, addressable fire alarm system to replace existing zoned system in its entirety. New system shall comply with all local regulations and codes, and include an annunciator panel in main lobby, combo CO/Smoke detection in sleep rooms, and smoke detection in all electrical/mechanical spaces. Alternate 2 Downspout Connection to Existing Tightline: Extend existing tightline and connect new down spouts to new tightline. Work includes, but is not limited to, extension of existing tightline, restoration of existing landscaping and replacement of existing pavement.

Construction of a new public restroom at Licton Springs Park, including associated site work, hardscape and landscape improvements, and utility connections.

Milling and replacing failed asphalt pavement sections throughout the container yard. Milling shall be performed using mechanical mills to a depth of approximately 3 inches. Replacement asphalt shall be placed in two lifts and finished to match the grade and profile of adjacent paved areas. A second component of the work consists of installing concrete collars at the utility structures shown on the plans or encountered during construction. This includes sawcutting and removing the existing asphalt pavement and replacing it with reinforced concrete as specified in the contract documents.

The existing electrical panels were observed to be original panels and are approaching the end of their Estimated Useful Life (EUL). Some panels have been replaced though out the building. It is recommended that the remaining original panels be replaced. Aluminum wiring was observed in dwelling unit electrical panels. It is assumed that the majority of the electrical branch wiring throughout the units is aluminum. In order to eliminate fire risks associated with aluminum wiring, it is recommended to install Alumiconn connectors at all aluminum to copper connections. This project will be bid and contracted in 2026; however, construction activities will not resume until the third quarter of 2027. Contractors shall prepare and submit bids accordingly, with all pricing, scheduling, labor, and material considerations reflecting a 2027 restart of work.

This is a readvertisement. The City of Wenatchee received Federal Railway/Highway Crossing funds to construct safety improvements along 9th Street at the rail crossing. This project will replace and install curbs, sidewalks, HMA, illumination, and other associated work. The City intends for the selected firm to provide the material testing services required for this work.
